Great update with Video Playback

I really like this version because it plays back the video of my strike and I can see my posture, if I’m dipping the shinai down when I go in, and how straight am I moving. Works better on my iPhone5 now too, using the whole screen.

Fun after keiko

This little app is a blast. Although it is kendo themed it is really just an easy (simple) device to measure reaction time. In a kendo context it is a lot of fun at post keiko get togethers to simply use sitting on the table top. I know that it can be attached to a kendo hitting dummy or even actual bogu as well. I am sure I would have made 7 dan faster if I had used this fun app during my post practice cool downs. It certainly has been fun with other kenshi.

Great for working on reaction speed!

This app is simple and does what it's supposed to. Settings for time and striking strength add to the varoety of practice one can use this for. Green light is always random so you can't get familiar with when to strike.

I've got my iPhone in an ID case attached to a lanyard. I hang it around rhe neck of an old Century bully dummy that I dress up in my bogu and I practice.

Works well. Don't know why it's being touted as a waste of money, perhaps some morons think this app is a game. It's not. READ THE DESCRIPTION!

Kendo Dummy

Save your money. It sounds good, but big waste of time. Very limited use.
