The app does NOT load. As soon as the icon is tapped, it takes you back to the phone screen.
Great when it worked
It was nice when it actually worked, but that hasn’t been for several years. No idea why the distillers association hasn’t updated this, particularly since the distilleries that are part of the tour have changed over time.

Like some others, I’ve downloaded the app on my phone and iPad…… the app won’t even open 🤬 on either device! Why keep offering it in the App Store or on line when it doesn’t even work? RIDICULOUS!

The app has not been updated on 3 yrs, and the developer’s website link doesn’t work. Hopefully there is a plan to get this working again. When it worked, it was 4 stars.

Pretty sure the app doesn’t work at all anymore. I’ve tried to download and use the app several times in the past two years. I’ve never gotten it past the home screen, just tried it again and it instantly crashes. iPhone 8+
Not working at all.
Downloaded the app but can not get it to open! Just flashes. Deleted it 2 times then reinstalled but still can’t get it to open. Really was looking forward to using it while we took on the Ky Bourbon Trail. Oh well will just stick the passport.
It Won’t Open
I recently downloaded the app so my wife and I could complete the Bourbon Trail however on my phone as well as my wife’s phone it would not open. I have tried to troubleshoot my phone but nothing works. Hopefully it will get updated.
STILL doesn’t work
I’ve been waiting for over a year for them to fix this app. I try to open it and it immediately crashes. I am disappointed as my stamps were all collected in this virtual passport. Please fix this for us!

No longer working
The app attempts to open then crashes. After deleting and reinstalling the same result. iPhone 6s Plus running iOS 11.2. Please fix so I can use it in a few weeks!
Update needed now
This app is not worth it I have lost all my stamps do to not being able to open the app this is a problem they need to fix it or discontinue it and tell people
Don't bother with this app
So frustrating. About half the distilleries have cell service available where you can connect to "check in" with this app. By the time you figure this out you have to fly to make your next tour. Use the paper passport only.
Worthless
Completed all the stops without an issue until the final stop at Urban Jim Bean (which isn't even in the paper passport). Wouldn't let me check-in and indicated that a new stop had been added (which, again, is not in the paper passport) and that I would have to completely reset the passport and lose all previous 9 stamps. My friends who did the paper passport along with the app were able to get the t-shirt (without having to have a stamp for the "new" stop) but those of us who only used the app were not.

Worthless
The app is worthless. It wouldn't let me check in at half of the distilleries even though I was standing in the gift shop. It kept telling me the distillery was closed for the day. Also crashes about every 15 minutes. I'm deleting it from my phone.
Don't get out of your car.
I logged on manually avoid the Facebook problems reported in other reviews, and had no problems in that regard. My t-shirt arrived about a week after my trip, and I was happy with the app's performance.
A quick hack though. The app uses location services, and although it says you need to be in the gift shop or visitors center of the distillery, you only need to get close, like in the parking lot. This was helpful, since we had leave early on a Sunday morning, but still needed three more stamps. We drove up before these distilleries opened, got our stamps, and drove off without getting out of the car.

Worthless app that doesn't work at all
I used this app for a couple weeks leading into the KBT. The day I started it quit logging in with FB. I entered my information manually and was working until the last iOS update and it's completely down. Do not rely on this for your stamps!!!!
Under 21?!
I should have read the app before downloading. Like many others, I am also being rejected for being under 21. I checked with my mom; turns out I was right, I am was born in '76 and haven't seen 21 in a few years. Please fix as I would really like to use it.
Sign up MANUALLY, Do NOT sign up using FB!
My wife and I are doint the KBT starting in 4 days. My wife found this app, tried it, and said it didnt work, because it said she wasnt 21. (As others have stated, she tried to log in via FB like the others, and failed). And we are in our late 40s, so we are old enough.
So I signed up manually, and it worked for me no problem. My wife tried it again, and entered her info. manually, and it worked.
So sign up manually, and dont use FB, and you should be OK.

Average at best
It appears this app contains the major distillers however there are more that need to be added. I fully understand it's those on the Ky Bourbon Trail BUT open it up to all bourbon and bourbon distillers so those of us who have 60 or 70 bourbons on our "real" shelf can keep up with them. Even more so are those within these distillers. Not all of Woodford is on there. Old Forrester and Woodford are from the same owner. You'd think that OF would be on this app as well. Open it up to All bourbons and make it more useful.
