What's New in Keyra AI Keyboard
1.5.0
August 6, 2026
Keyra 1.5.0 — summarize, reply variants, shortcuts and a redesigned app. NEW AI ACTION: SUMMARIZE Tap ≡ to summarize a long message, your own draft or whatever you copied. The summary opens in a panel over the keys — a headline sentence plus a few bullets — so you can read it without leaving the chat. If you want it in the message, "Insert" puts it at the cursor and ↩ undoes it. REPLY, NOW WITH VARIANTS Reply no longer gives you one answer. A single tap produces Short, Friendly and Formal versions side by side; pick the card that fits and it goes straight to the cursor. You can also define up to 3 reply styles of your own — a title and a short description of how you want to sound — and they appear right next to the built-in ones. COMPOSE TEMPLATES Staring at an empty instruction line is over. When Compose is armed, ready-made templates appear: work e-mail, apology, thank you, congratulations, invitation, negotiation. Seasonal templates show up on their own dates — New Year, Valentine's Day, Ramadan and Sacrifice Feast, Mother's and Father's Day, April 23 and October 29. TEXT SHORTCUTS Define your own shortcut → expansion pairs (up to 20) for your e-mail address, IBAN or a sentence you type all day. Type the shortcut and the expansion appears first in the suggestion strip. Nothing is replaced behind your back — you always choose. EMOJI The emoji index now goes up to Unicode 16, and emoji your device can't draw are filtered out automatically, so no more empty boxes. Long-press an emoji to pick a skin tone; your choice is remembered across the grid and search. MAKE THE KEYBOARD YOURS Keyboard height is now a setting (Small / Medium / Large), and there is an optional number row. Three new themes join system, dark and light: Black, Blue and Green. Everything is previewed live — change the size or the theme and the test keyboard right below updates instantly. A REDESIGNED APP Three tabs — Home, Pro, Settings. The test field sits at the very top, quota is a single clear figure, and Settings has been split into five calm groups with one row per setting. WEEKLY USAGE SUMMARY Under the daily card you can now see the last 7 days as bars, your weekly total, the difference against last week and your most used action. It stays on your device; only action names and counts are kept — never your text. PRIVACY DASHBOARD Settings → Privacy shows exactly what stays on your device — learned words, word pairs, blocked words, text shortcuts — with a count for each and a single button to erase them. It also spells out, in plain sentences, what does leave your device: only the text you hand to an AI action, only when you tap it. SUPPORT You can now send feedback and rate Keyra from Settings → Support. Plus many smaller fixes and speed improvements throughout the keyboard.
