Great Resume Builder, But Beware of the Double Subscription
I really liked the resume builder itself. It was easy to use, the templates looked professional, and I was able to create a great resume right from my phone.
However, I want to warn others about the subscription. I purchased the Premium version through the mobile app, assuming it would also give me Premium access when I logged into the website on my computer using the same account. While my resume was there, I couldn’t download or access the Premium features unless I purchased another Premium subscription for the web version. I ended up paying twice just to access the same resume on a different device.
The resume builder is excellent, but this separate billing between the mobile app and website was frustrating and wasn’t clear before I subscribed. If you plan to work on your resume across both your phone and computer, make sure you understand how the subscriptions work before paying.

Kick Resume
Kick Resume was able to update and enhance my technical resume with amazing speed and accuracy. The A.I. recommendations really polished up what was already a great resume and created some outstanding cover letters. This will be my resume platform from now on.
Easy for highschoolers + doesn’t force you to use ai
I don’t like that it has ai in the title but it doesn’t force you to use it, can be done by person which i like because i personally don’t like using ai
Has examples which does unfortunately have people’s information like email and numbers

I really wanted this to work
I signed up for an account hours ago at this point. It said it would email me a confirmation to create my account. I’ve not received that email at all (and yes I checked my spam folder). I tired to see if there was a way to request another confirmation email. There isn’t. I attempted to just create the account from scratch again. That didn’t work because it says my email already has an account. An account they never let me verify or even access. Based on my experience using this app is a waste of time. Time you need to be using looking for new jobs. I’m bummed I really wanted to use this app and have the app actually work.

Helpful and Professional Resume Builder
I’ve been using Kickresume for about 5 years to create my resumes and cover letters, and it has consistently been one of the most helpful tools for job applications. The templates are professional, easy to customize, and make the whole process much smoother.
Now that Kickresume includes AI features, it has become even more useful. The AI helps with proofreading, correcting wording, improving resume descriptions, and making cover letters sound more polished and professional. It saves a lot of time and gives me more confidence before submitting applications.
Overall, Kickresume is a great tool for anyone who wants to create clean, professional resumes and cover letters without feeling overwhelmed. I highly recommend it.

Template updates not great
Kickresume used to be excellent: clean interface, thoughtful templates, and a formatting system that rewarded precision. Recent updates have changed that.
The most immediate issue: ATS parsing now drops my contact information in the middle of the page rather than at the top. For anyone applying through online portals, that’s not a minor glitch — it’s a disqualifier before a human ever sees the resume.
The template margin changes have also thrown off carefully calibrated bullet character counts, requiring a full rewrite of content I’d spent considerable time refining. That’s the opposite of what a resume builder is supposed to do.
I’ve been a committed user, but I’m now actively exploring alternatives. If the template infrastructure gets fixed and ATS compatibility is tested more rigorously before updates ship, I’d come back. Until then, I can’t recommend it to anyone in a serious job search.

Great App For AI Resume Aid
The template system and their AI grading system (with suggestions to improve) is very helpful. Also great for formalizing thoughts or cover letters.
Amazing Resume Builder
I have used quite a few resume building apps/websites and I have to say this one is by far one of my favorites. I appreciate all of the tools it offers including AI assistance when needed as well as the resume review and feed back. It has helped me create a polished resume and is super user friendly!! Also the ATS word scanner is beyond helpful today with many resumes just be shuffled into a pile it’s nice to know if you put the job in which you’re applying to it can help generate tracking words to help stay within the top candidates. As a recruiter and HR…I can honestly say this app is user friendly and polished to near perfection! Highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Anything online computers or phone phones come very difficult for me and this app has really helped me an awful lot. It’s awesome and it’s easy to use and if there’s a problem then it’s because I just don’t know how. Because this app is super super easy.

App is very useful. ATS is good. I didn’t like the AI content much. Customer service is very customer oriented, customer service is not instant but very genuine reply.
