Absolutely Useless
As others have said, all is pretty much unusable. Tried numerous times and the app died at various different points.
App isn’t even needed for something like this. £15 taken and hopefully will be refunded.
Don’t bother. Save yourselves the stress.

Cars are BIG!
Downloaded APP, hired car and was all effortless. Only gripe is the cars are very big so some shops we had to leave it outside (attended). I’d use again but only for an hour or so.
Overkill and waste of time
To have to download an App just to rent a little car is overkill. It was also a waste of time as it didn’t work anyway.

Waste of time, upset kids
Doesn’t work. Really difficult to add card details and doesn’t unlock the car.

It was very easy to hire the car, and my son really enjoyed it. App was quick to recognise car had been returned. The £15 deposit is a bit steep and we still haven’t been refunded a week later.

Awful app and set up process!
I tried to hire a car for my 5yo son to enjoy whilst looking around the Designer Outlet in Bridgend.
We tried for over 30 minutes at the three different pick up/park stations at the outlet, but it wouldn’t release a car despite scanning a number of QR codes. The staff at the outlet were kind and helpful and called Kiddy Cars via telephone to release a car…but even that didn’t work for us.
We could see other families had been successful, hiring cars that wouldn’t work for us minutes before and the staff at the outlet’s explanation was that the app’s connection was being temperamental.
What we were hoping to have was a shopping trip with some fun for my son, but this situation turned out to be a very frustrating time for me and quite an upsetting experience for him. He was so disappointed. His excitement plummeted into an emotional meltdown!
I said to him we would ‘try again next time’ whenever that may be, and I’m already dreading the ordeal.

Doesn’t work
Just as frustrating as reported in other reviews. The app simply doesn’t work. We couldn’t get any cars, was charged twice the £15 deposit which will hopefully be refunded. It takes time to download, fill in your card details, try and try again. Very frustrating if you have a small child near you (at that age, their patience is limited - fyi clever app developers!).

Hired 2 cars with ease at the Ashford outlet
Unfortunately when we took one of the cars out the previous people had left food and spilt drink in there. I did feedback to kiddy car and they refunded the cost!

Disappointing didn’t work!
Really disappointed, my autistic son really wanted to have a go in one of the cars but the app just kept failing to work! Tried and tried to get it to work downloading it a number of times without joy. My son had a MASSIVE melt down (autism) it ruined our whole day out and will take him a number of days to get over it!
