My mental health is ruined
Okay so my parents are really nice and let me do anything I want to but I SWEAR MY OLDER SISTER HAS PUT THIS ON MY PARENTS PHONES AND MINE, Now I'm not mad at you... I'm MAD about the fact that it got so bad I GOT ANXIETY AND HAVE TO HIDE EVERYTHING FROM HER BECAUSE OF THIS, I'm literally mature enough to have MY OWN PRIVACY but no.... I removed it by myself but SHE STILL KEPT IT ON MY PARENTS PHONE, so she did it without both of me and my parents consent and is breaking Illinois law btw, and she also does this is MY COMPUTER THAT I BARELY USE BTW, and now I'm writing this review because I WANT YOU TO MAKE AN UPDATE THAT ENFORCES THE FACT ASKING THE PERSON ARE YOU USING THIS ON A CHILD'S DEVICE AND SHOW THAT IS IS ILLEGAL TO DO IT TO AN ADULT BECAUSE SHE IS CURRENTLY STALKING MY PARENTS BECAUSE OF THIS, SHE RUINED MY MENTAL HEALTH AND NOW I FEEL I'M BEING WATCHED BECAUSE OF HER, MY PARENTS ALSO HAD TO TALK TO ME ABOUT THIS AND NOW THEY KNOW SHE'S BREAKING THE LAW SO YOU RESPOND BACK, RATHER THAN DOING NOTHING AND SAYING "b-but your parents should be using it! š„ŗ" NO, I WANT PRIVACY AND NOT STALKING SO IF YOU'RE GONNA MAKE AN UPDATE CHECK IMPLENT AND AGE USE OF DEVICES USED BY PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 13 AND NOT OVER 13! RATHER THAN SAYING IT IN THE DESCRIPTION! I'M 13 YEARS OLD AND WENT THROUGH MORE INTERNET AND FOUND MY INTERESTS IN THERE, SAY THAT THIS STATE IT IS ILLEGAL TO DO IT TO AN ADULT WITHOUT CONSENT AND YOU'RE BREAKING THE LAW AND ALSO IF THEY DON'T STOP MESSAGE THEM SAYING THAT THEY WILL BE ARRESTED IF THEY DON'T STOP! As a teen, I will say this: I think Qustodio sucks. But Iāve seen other reviews from teens and kids that look very immature, so Iām going. To try to keep this as mature as possible. Qustodio does its job. Itās good at limiting screen time and blocking certain apps and websites. However, it sucks at determining which searches are safe and which ones are not. I had searched something about redshift for science class and it gave my parent a warning about drugs??? What????? I searched up āDeath by Glamourā on YouTube because I think the song is fire. A warning aboutā¦.hate speech???? Every time stuff like ts happens I have to explain it to my parents, and itās really annoying. REALLY annoying. Qustodio needs to invest in their program being able to do a little bit of digging first to see if the search is actually harmful or not. Qustodio also lied about my screen timeāsaid I was on Genshin Impact at three in the morning??? I am NEVER on my phone at three in the morning, plus I donāt even have Genshin on my phone. Got in pretty big trouble for this, though. Alsoooo there are SO many ways to permanently or temporarily disable Qustodio without notifying parents. Thatās probably the one thing I like about this app, so thanks, Qustodio.

This has broken trust issues with my mom.
If I could review this app 0 stars I would, and if I could rate it negative I most certainly would. This stupid app has crossed the boundaries into stalkerware, and I was living a peaceful life, with privacy. Now my mom knows who I chat with, call, text, my search history, emails, and my location. Thank you so much Qustodio, for making my life a living hell.

Why this app sucks (for windows and in general)
This app is actually manageable on iOS but it is sooooo bad on windows, developers, take notes, first of all why does it just close the app with no warning like you could be doing really good on a game and it just closes on you, thats really annoying, why canāt it be like apple where it actually gives you warning before the app closes. Second, in general This app sucks, it starts by just completely blocking everything before letting a parent actually allow stuff, just do it the other way around, allow everything and then let the parent block stuff, itās just stupid. Thereās also other issues on windows which literally makes windows unusable. If we canāt go to the website, just block the website instead of sending us to the google homepage, itās also really annoying. In fact, the entire app is annoying, even apple screen time is better and itās free.

I love how invasion of privacy for children and adults with parents has just become normal and acceptable. People freak out about China and their security system, then turn around and plant things like this on their childās phone because they canāt do their own job as a parent. They want too be lazy and weak and want to rely on AI garbage to parent for them.

Ok so I find it great for younger kids like under 12 but when you got some teenagers they socialize a lot and play games with thete friends and do research with ther devices for school and yeah if they spent a lot of screen time either take it away or turn off the wifi tennis need freedom in life

Qustodio lies about your screen time. For example, once I checked my Qustodio screen time and it said 4 hours and 26 minutes. Then, I checked my Apple screen time and it said 2 hours and 55 minutes. It lies about your screen time to try to make your parents think ur on ur device for too long. Then my parents get the email āyour kid was on their phone for 5 hours yesterday!ā And then they say how helpful Qustodio is and put these weird screen time bugs all over my phone. So yea, if u want ur app to be good stop making it give false information. SHUT DOWN QUSTODIO NOW!!! If anyone agrees with me we should get this app taken down. šš„š
