I tried this app and you would have to pay in order to have your kids play with happy touch.

The rows on the number beads are not representing numbers in the units, tens, hundreds, thousands, etc, format. This approach deviates from the teaching conventions for the (western style), 100-bead abacus.
For example, 1 bead on the bottom row shifted to the right is “1”. One bead added on the next row above (“the 10s row”) shifted right represents a total of “11” - not “2” as is currently displayed. A correct sum of the beads would be helpful. Please fix this.

Man bekommt ein Vorschaubild gezeigt, welches man erst durch Zukauf erhält - total unfair und sollte nicht unterstützt werden.
Nice easy to learn with
We tested this learning game for a few days now. I see my kids come back to the app without pushing. They’re trying to solve those little quizzes and keep focused. I am happy with that and I guess it’s great for first counting and number experiences. Maybe I wish we could deactivate the sound buttons and have maybe animals instead of balls to count :)

Perfect for my requirements
This is a great app for assisting very young children learning to count. However, I use it for a completely unrelated reason. I use it to help keep track of my groups of exercise repetitions. For example, I am aiming to be able to do 1000 sit-ups, in groups of 100. I kept losing track of the number of groups I had done. Was that 5 or 6 groups? Now with this app I have my iPad open next to me and every 100 sit ups I move one abacus bead across. The free version comes with one abacus of 3 rows of 5 beads. Pay £1.99 and you get two more abacuses: 5x10 and 10x010. Perfect for my needs!

Keine Wiederherstellung bei in App-Kauf
Das Programm ist gut,jedoch lässt sich auf meinem 2.Gerät,der in App-Kauf ,nicht mehr herstellen.Es bleibt dann bei der light-Version.

Fast Perfekt
Ich habe für die meinen Sohn in der ersten Klasse diesen Abakus gekauft um bei den Rechenaufgaben nicht immer auf Erbsen und Bohnen zurückgreifen zu müssen. Sehr schön ist die Anzeige der Zahlen bei Plusaufgaben. Leider jedoch jeher nicht optimal bei Minusaufgaben. Wünschenswert wäre, es die Ziffernanzeige ausschalten zu können. Ebenso wäre es hilfreich die Tiere am unteren Rand abschalten zu können. Diese lenken meinen Sohn eher ab und animieren zu Spielen, statt sich auf die Rechenaufgabe zu konzentrieren.

Limited appeal
My daughter got bored pretty quickly. The reward was too small for getting it right. Her math abilities are at a pre-school level. She did enjoy pushing the beads around. I liked the wooden sound of the clicks.
