Can’t share
What’s the point of the share button when all it does is share a link to the app and when you click on the link it either takes you the home page of the app or shows all the cars with the name instead of the specific one you are trying to share. None of my friends can see the cars I like unless I send screenshots and that’s a hassle. Please fix. Great app otherwise.

Search function and orientation issues for me
In BC near AB and selected to limit search radius to province and only shows AB results when entering a BC postal. I’m trying to avoid an out of province inspection when importing to BC. Now I have to look at the location of each when it would be so easy if the selected feature worked.
App doesn’t show any vehicle info in landscape on iPad so have to rotate to see info after looking at pics in landscape

Links don’t work
I cannot send my friends, family or father any link to a car. We both have the app. It sends us to a link that always comes to the App Store and fails to share the car. We both have the app and accounts, so this shouldn’t be an issue, it never used to be. If you guys could address and fix this it would be amazing! I could and would be able to share vehicles with people finally!

Too many fake ads and buyers
Recently tried to sell my car on Kijiji. I was inundated with fake buyers. Total waste of time
Messages don’t work
Everything else about the app works fine.
But when someone messages me, I can see the email notification and then I can’t reply in the app because it says I don’t have any messages? So it’s not useful at all if you’re trying to sell a vehicle. Also can’t leave your phone number in the attached to the ad because you will only get scammers messaging you

Won’t let me share vehicle contact
This the worse app for vehicles I ever used. Will use the old app instead. Thankfully I have Facebook Market Place
Good app
The save feature is very useful.
Couple of quirks:
- filter gets reset when you return back from the search list. This is annoying.
- tapping a universal/web link to a car that was shared by tapping the Share button does NOT actually “deep link” you to the car in the app. For some weird reason it opens the App Store(iOS), even if you already installed the app. This means you never find the car that was shared.

I only wish links would open when you share cars. Other than that it’s great
Images in iPad app stopped working
This app has been broken for months, the iPad version does not show vehicle images consistently, some show but most are just black rectangles.
Slow and won’t load ever!!!!
When I do anything on the app it just says “cannot complete search right now, try again soon” and never works no matter what.
Sharing a Link doesn’t work
When a link is shared it requires the other person to have the app as well

Showing me everything I don’t want to see
I’m looking for a minivan, so I put DODGE CARAVAN in the search filters. And what do they show me? DODGE DARTS. DODGE JOURNEYS. DODGE TRUCKS FROM THE 1930s! Do I want to see those results? No. I do not. Thanks Kijiji, you idiots. Once again you’ve managed to prove that you are incompetent and I should just stick with Facebook marketplace.

Great platform….just be aware of phishing scams
I tried to sell my car on AutoTrader for a few months. For various reasons, that didn't work out (no issues with AutoTrader...I think it's a great platform and I would use them in the future). While my car was on AutoTrader, I somehow discovered that Kijiji has a dedicated car trading app. I decided to try my luck and within about 3 weeks I struck a great deal and sold my car on Kijiji Autos.
Kijiji Auto is a great app for car trading. Features are comparable to AutoTrader with one glaring exception: ad promotion is not straightforward and perhaps more expensive. I got a total of around 100 views with very basic ad promotion. I guess since I did end up selling that it worked in the end? Hard to say....YMMV!
The biggest issue however with Kijiji Autos is the terrible amount of spam + phishing scams you get when you put your phone number on your listing/profile. I am a seasoned user of "common sense" and so I never fell for any of the scams, however the scammers have gotten pretty good with their prose so it takes some effort on your part to distinguish scammers from genuine users. Ironically, the person I ended up selling my car to communicated via the app's messaging feature. We moved on to phone communication only after I showed the car to them in-person. This leads me to conclude that you can almost entirely eliminate this scamming problem by just sticking to in-app messaging. If you really want to put your number on the listing/profile though, just be aware that you will instantly be bombarded with phishing scams.
All in all, I recommend Kijiji Autos for selling your car. If I were you though, I wouldn't use just 1 app/platform like I did....you should probably use Kijiji Autos AND AutoTrader (and perhaps even FB marketplace) to maximize your chances of getting a good sale/purchase.

Share doesn’t work
Using the app is nice and responsive. But the share feature doesn’t work. The link it generates just takes the user to the App Store, even if the user has the Kijiji Autos app installed.
