Couldn’t register
I used Apple, Google and even manually entered the info and could not register. The connected logins returned a network error and when registering manually the app crashed after click next step.
Dead?
Is it safe to assume this app is dead? I’ve read other reviews about the app not working, I tested it out myself and it won’t let me sign up. Not sure what has happened or what will happen. Looking for something that me and my family can share memories on without all the other clutter…

I was experiencing the same issues as all the other reviews. Everything looks to be sorted out now.
No Longer Working
Been down for about a month now. Took our money and ran. Lost shared family posts with no warning. Displeased to say the least.
App isn’t working anymore
I’ve been using the Kin app for almost a year and suddenly it isn’t functioning. The Kin website is down. Their email is down. I can’t reach anyone from the company to find out what is happening.
App Outage
The app is acting really funky. Been like this for the past several days now. It won’t update the feed and it keeps giving a network error message. Even the website is down. What’s the issue?
Very very unhappy
I have received charges to my bank account that i did not make as i had never heard of this app until about a month ago who the first charge occurred. I then reached out to support, emailing about my situation and waited for a response. None came, this month I received another charge, this time I downloaded the app, and made an account to try and contact support there. However there is no place for support on the app so once again i emailed the company. I have heard nothing back, i have never signed up for a subscription or ever downloaded the app (until recently to try and contact support). I have since asked my bank to block any charges from this app, and i am deeply upset and disappointed that no one has reached back out to help me or refund me the $10 they have took over the last 2 months. I would not recommend this app especially if you have young children who can make purchases through apps.

Social Media the Right Way
This is exactly the type of app I was looking for with social media. It strips away all the trash that IG, FB, SC, and twitter throw at you every second of every day. This is for truly connecting with your social group. So glad I found this app.
Kin App
I like the Kin app I can send media to my family. But the upload speeds are a bit bad. It takes like 5 seconds to upload a 3 second video.
Also it recommends me to send a future message to my pets but when I try, I can’t. Good app overall but much rooms for improvement.

Deleted after 30mins
Nothing original in app, all features have been around for decade.. For private groups like all I use WhatsApp to share media, to preserve media like all we use google photos.. P.S. your whole push on privacy & data not for sale… no one cares as much as you think… I’m sure you’re all still using apps that capture your data, it’s 2022 baby, get with program!

Bad start
Downloaded the app, gave my email and never got an email back or any code to start.
Tried 8 times with same results!
Looked in spam fold and everywhere.
Clicked on contact and it wouldn’t let me contact them....

I’ve got family all over the world and family chats, photos and memories all over the place on the internet and a load of different apps. This finally manages to let me keep it all in one place - it’s going to be great for the kids to look at one day too.
Safe place for sharing
Easy way to safely share memories with the family, not the entire world. Easy to start posting and feed a pipeline. Posting messages to be opened up in future is a nice touch.

Very timely
Simple yet easy to use. Much more of an private feel to it than Facebook and I’m keen to get more family members on it. Hoping more features will be available soon.
