This app made me cry!
I just bought it today, after waiting for several years. Listened to it for only a few minutes, and I’m already in tears. Current events have me feeling so scared and upset, but hearing these peaceful, positive affirmations makes all the difference in the world to my state of mind. Even when I find it nearly impossible to believe these things are true, it’s an immense relief and comfort to hear, “Everything will be OK,” “Hard times will not last forever,” and “Next year will be better than this.” I feel like I can overcome anything and conquer the world, after just a few minutes with this application. That kind of positivity is so needed, now more than ever, when so many people this day feel powerless, angry, and afraid. To the developer, thank you for creating and sharing Kind Words. On a much more technical note, I enjoy the consistency of the interface between this app and the Music Healing series, which I’ve loved and used for years. Also, thank you for continuing to support older devices and iOS versions. Audio quality is beyond outstanding, but app size is manageable, small, even. Also of note is the accessibility of Kind Words and the Music Healing series. They work great with VoiceOver, Apple’s screen access solution for the blind. For me, that determines whether or not I can use an app, so it pleases me to no end that Kind Words and its sibling apps are so accessible. Keep up the great work there. In short, I would highly recommend Kind Words, and the Music Healing series, to everyone. We all need comforting these days, and Kind Words, and its companion apps, can and do help. Take it from me, an emotionally sensitive soul, who gets strung out way too easily. If this software helps me feel better, it will do the same for you.
