Class Action Lawsuit time
I’m waiting on a prescription and the app keeps resetting the number of days until ready. I called and the pharmacist had to go into the computer to fix it. Bugs like this should NEVER occur in any kind of medical application! I looked online and this has been happening for a long time. The app should be pulled from the App Store.

Getting better but still a long way off
The latest update has made things a little better. Would like to be able to hide old prescriptions. Otherwise it makes it hard to find the correct script to renew with PCP. The old app allowed that feature. Still needs a lot of work.
Slow buggy disaster
If I could give the app 0 stars, I would.
Let’s start with the prescriptions. First of all, having to log in to that separately is a huge downgrade from the old app. I always have to open it twice to get the prescriptions to load. Even then, they are slower than death to load. With the new update it now logs me out if I try to look at a different app with the prescription screen open. I have automatic refills off, yet it says they are on for any prescription that isn’t ready for pickup. More than one prescription is listed twice, and there is no way to hide or remove the inactive prescriptions, of which I have many. Oh, and when you do refill a prescription, there is no back button to get back to the prescription list.
Now we get to the notifications. According to the settings, I have them off. Yet I receive the text message notifications. Now, as an accessibility feature the text reminders and ability to refill prescriptions through text should be a good thing. The AI ruins it. It pesters me with constant messages, sends reminders for prescriptions not actually eligible for refill, and sends in refills for prescriptions I didn’t ask for (and you can’t cancel them through text or the app meaning you have to talk to the pharmacist to fix it). Zero reason for AI for a basic text reminder and refill system.
The overall app design is not accessible, and does nothing to improve the user experience. The old app had issues but was much better. The main goal of a pharmacy app should be to provide easy and accurate access to prescription refills. This fails on the most basic level.

Nonfunctional
You dingalings. It’s like you want to go out of business. At least your previous app was functional. This one doesn’t even allow you to refill prescriptions without the prescription number, doesn’t allow you to manage other family members meds, and half the time the app just closes on itself. I gave it a full 2 months for things to be fixed and still haven’t been so now I’ll be going to mail order or Walgreens for the convenience.

Useless
Login randomly stops working sometimes and whenever I try to add a medication to check my refill, it says the information I filled out (from the bottle) doesn’t match any prescriptions. will also say that the phone number on my prescription bottle from my local kinney drugs doesnt match any kinney drugs locations??? like how bad can you make this app

App is clunky, freezes often
The old app was lousy, but at least it usually worked.
This one freezes up, every time I try to log in. It usually requires my rebooting my iOS device to access.
Then, once logged in, it freezes up, or takes a long time to access my prescriptions. Once I access my prescriptions, the app boots me back out to the Home Screen after any individual prescription is viewed, meaning I have to go through the same laggy process of re-accessing my prescriptions—over and over, if I have multiple prescriptions I need to access.
Very poorly made

Unusable 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Unless you have any wifi at all this app won’t work and when it does it’s so bad. I can’t request meds unless the pharmacy decides it’s acceptable to order my meds, I can’t log in as easy I use to. Can’t call the pharmacy either because now that’s all an ai robot so you’re literally unable to access meds info or nothing. This app is so horrible and should be a crime to making it this inaccessible to get medication. If I could give it a 0 I would.

Doesn't work
Before the most recent update, the app would freeze on the login page and not let me do anything. At least then I could restart the app and usually log in okay. As of the most recent update though, it always gets stuck on the new loading screen when it opens. I literally can't do anything on it, and closing and reopening it no longer helps. I don't know who works on this app but you seriously need to work on these problems. This app is supposed to make checking in on my meds more convenient, not impossible.

Terrible login and slow
Every time I log in I have to write my email and password and then do a verification on my phone. No option for it to remember my log in or do Face ID. Then after all that it takes forever to load or doesn’t load and I have to exit out and start over. Never had an app so annoying to get into
Terrible!!
I can no longer request refills for my children because the family management is gone. I don’t have their prescription numbers because I throw away the boxes when we get them (because our prescriptions were always saved in my account). When I call I get a robot who can’t understand anything I’m saying. What a mess! So disappointed in Kinney Drugs for taking something that worked and making it 100x more complicated!

Terrible new version of the app. Can’t even log into my old account with the same email and password
Downgraded UI
The new app, which was released a few weeks ago, is a serious downgrade from the previous app, and I hope the Engineering and Product teams are working on improvements quickly. They bungled the release from the get go, removing the old app without the new app being ready, locking users out of their accounts and not sending any notifications. The new app UI leaves a lot to be desired. Loading times for the prescription pages is way too long, there’s no back button when you refill a prescription, so you have to manually tap back into the prescriptions tab and go through loading again, and sometimes when you choose refill, it randomly just puts the prescription back to the “refill eligible” stage without any notice. I’m sure they had their reasons for decommissioning the old app, unfortunately, they have a long way to go with the new app before it’s fully functioning.

Why would Kinney’s launch an App filled with so many “ bugs”?
Did anyone beta test it before launch? Anyone????
Because if you did, you may have caught the disaster you unleashed on your customers.
It is convoluted, it’s not formatted correctly on some pages for mobile use. It’s a ball of confusion.
I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to sign in. If you need 3+ pages of directions to explain how it works, clearly the infographic isn’t helping. Very unprofessional. It looks, and feels rushed. The Ai art work is so cringy, but that is my subjective view as a retired graphic designer.
It feels like you do not have the capabilities to transfer our pharmacy history to the new App or made the conscious decision not to spend the money to do so.
Instead, Kinney’s is making the customer ( YOUR END-USER) do all the work.
Maybe the designer did not have enough time? Lack of budget? Lack of experience. It really does not matter at this point WHY you launched an inferior, unfinished APP that has NONE of the customer’s information and history. You did and now you made things more difficult for your customers. Great job.
I created a NEW account, I was able to put in two scripts for refill and then it just locked me out. I tried 3+ times to sign back in, with the same information I provided when I was forced to create a new account.
This is not acceptable to me, because my time is just as valuable as yours, and I don’t appreciate having useless computer slop to deal with. I saw the rating for this APP to date: 60 people in 2 weeks with a one star rating. ⭐️
An APP is suppose to make tasks, like refills, more convenient, seamless and not a nightmare for the End-User. I decided that I am not going to use the App, it’s pointless. Looking for another pharmacy.
Do better for your customers. We deserve it.

Log In won’t work
The app is convenient and lets you manage all your medications and lets you view your pharmacies. However, every time I attempt my log in. It is always states “invalid Credentials”. I have created a new password multiple times and can log in on the the Kinney’s website. But it will not work for the app. When this bug is fixed, I will gladly use the app since it is doing its job otherwise. I would give a higher rating but without the ability to log in, it defeats the purpose of the app.

Kinney’s makes it a contest to see if you can make their app work!
I’ve used Kinney’s for 20 years including the previous Apple app as well as just logging in to their web site to handle my Rxs. Signing in the web site worked pretty efficiently and I got to see my Rx’s, history of refills and all related information. Now with the new Pharmacy app and portal, all of which require you to create a new account and migrate previous and current Rx information into it (you can’t find a single Rx in your profile until you jump through the hoops the software designers set up for you) to proceed using this new app the way the old one, which worked fine, did. HUGE Downgrade in design and who the hell got paid to design this and/or approve of it? Big letdown and now unless you get through this entire transformation procedure using this app, you are basically out of contact with Kinney’s for any of you previous or current Rx information. I’m temped to find another pharmacy and first, check out their app to see if it works better (easier) than Kinney’s does. Big letdown-down Kinney’s. Now go fix this mess!

Worst app "update" ever
I've been trying to refill my scripts for days, thought the old app was just malfunctioning and was waiting for them to fix it. When I tried calling apparently their phone system is a now a "virtual assistant" where you have to talk to it instead of just pushing numbers and I wasn't in a place I could speak out loud. Finally looked it up and learned on my own there's a whole new app. Thanks for letting us all know there's a new app with all these steps involved. Not like our medications are important or anything. On top of that I had to create a totally new account and could barely do that with all the bugs along the way. So disappointed in Kinney Drugs for this.

I miss the old app
This app is not user friendly. The old one allowed me to add the whole family and we are on day 3 of trying to figure that out with this new set up. You have to log in every time & I don’t like saving passwords to my phone so this extra step adds an unnecessary hassle. The old app used face recognition. There’s way more tabs to open. Too many colors. I really miss the old app.

New Kinney app - breaking things that weren’t broken
The old app was a little dated but much better. This one is less far less intuitive, I keep having to constantly log in which then makes me 2 factor auth each time (even if just switch to a new tab in the app because it’s web based - it just adds so much more time so do something simple), it’s trying for force me to interact with a AI chat bot (WE DON’T WANT AI FFS, this is now going to make me disable text updates on my prescriptions because AI is awful), I can’t hide my unused prescriptions anymore so I have this massive list always visible. I’m afraid to see what else has been changed for the worse.

Awful!
The old App was super user friendly! This App is worthless. There no longer is a “list” of all your current meds. To do a refill you have to enter the RX number. Once you submit there’s no “awaiting refill” etc. it just says “submitted”. I have no idea who thought this was a better alternative to what was already a great App? I won’t be using it. I’ll go back to the automated phone in system.

Why change what worked before.
Wow this app is terrible. It took me an hour to create an account, set it up, verify, verify some more, put in more info. All to find out only I can use it. My spouse cannot have a profile for his prescriptions. We could share the old app no problem. So you’re telling me I have to download the same app to his phone, make a new account, go through another hour of setting it all up. This is terrible.
