Kira 1.1.0 is our biggest update yet — built for groups that don't all spend in one currency. MULTI-CURRENCY EXPENSES • Log any expense in its own currency — a ¥ dinner in Tokyo, a ฿ taxi in Bangkok — with no forced conversion • Balances are tracked per currency, so everyone always knows exactly what's owed and in what money • Each group gets a default currency, and every receipt can override it SIMPLIFY DEBTS • Turn it on in a group and Kira combines everyone's debts into the fewest possible payments • See the payment plan, record what's been paid, and undo mistakes EXPENSES WITH FRIENDS • Split directly with a contact — no group needed — and both of you see the expense • A new friend page shows your full shared history and balance, per currency SETTLE UP, YOUR WAY • Settle individual receipts or record partial payments • Paid receipts now show as paid everywhere, instantly GROUP ACTIVITY • A new activity feed shows every expense added, edited, settled, or reopened — tap any entry to open the receipt FASTER EXPENSE ENTRY • Adding an expense now goes straight to the amount — pick a group or people right from the form Plus performance improvements, security hardening, and plenty of bug fixes.
