Too many errors in the stories
There are too many errors in the news reports online. Somehow have words that are left out and some are misspelled words. Also, when you click on the link you receive on the phone via text a lot of times the links do not go to the stories.
Doesn’t work
Try to open on iPhone and says unable to open app. Deleted and downloaded. Same issue. Tried to contact KIRO app help but takes you to their News website.
Dual videos
30 sec long repeating ads between news clips that are almost always less long than that - no thanks.
Fix the app and the reporter that put news on it or disconnect the app completely!
KIRO s reporter too lazy to go out find news news so they put same story double or even triple time to fill in those aren't reporters the should be unemployed workers?
Too many repetitive ads
It hard to access the news from media hype, such as foods that cause dementia or how to stop ringing in the ears. I’d rather get just news. Offer a section for all the sponsored stuff and keep it out of the news section.
The worst. Your app sends my phone teasers for stories to see- then they are not to be found-ever.
Your app is the worst. Example: my phone gives me a headline of a story on your app, I click on it to see the story and then I DON’T. It doesn’t go to the story , it goes to an ad on the app then the story I’m wanting to read or watch is nowhere to be found. THE WORST!
Stay informed
I like that KIRO I on top of what is happening and lets us know right away!

Too many glitches
The amount of glitches when trying to watch live is so unhelpful. The ads will play during crucial times of reports and then a commercial break will happen right after. I have heard no news coverage. Then I’ll hear both the reports and the commercial and the ad all at the same time. The glitches make the app so unhelpful.

Ads ads ads
A virtually useless app, it’s gives you news alerts, but if you click on them to learn more, it just takes you to a “live feed” of whatever they happen to be broadcasting at the time, not the actual story. Though before you can see anything, here’s an ad first! Very dystopian especially if you click on a story about a tragedy then there’s some happy go lucky ad with people smiling and laughing.

Only thing that plays in videos is ads, news stories play for few seconds then another ad. Tried repeatedly and always the same
Terrible Coverage on app
When I see Cairo has a post I go to the app and it’s so minimal that it’s not even worth going to and listening to. I’m going to delete the app from my phone.
Not great for I-Pad users
Up until about 8 months ago the screen would orient itself to the longer axis of my screen. Now it comes in sideways. Very annoying especially when it worked previously.
Still same problem with I-Pad orientation 6 months later. KIRO is my favorite tv and radio news. Sorry that I can’t access it on my I-PAD.

Love The Notifications!!!
I love getting a quick notification on local and national news. I think kiro7 is the best compared to the other 3 local stations, I tend to watch on tv and read on the app more than the other stations

Optimism reports
I find that KIRO does not fully report the darker side of Seattle’s problems. Is this an intentional act? I am interpreting it as an endorsement of the radical left that has a tight grip on our society. Example: Mt Rainier trails are now closed due to fire danger, one headline read. Yet on KOMO they report it as unhealthy air from the fires.. but no one mentions that our states fire budget has been cut from $115 million to $60 million. And to limit possible exposure to even more fire, people have lost the freedom to hike.
And when shootings happen. Why are they not reported? Our area has the 4th highest national crime rates that are a result of soft on crime, soft on drugs, high homelessness etc.. all a result of the open border, socialism and lack of accountability. KIRO has much room for improvement.

Glitches
Not stable, my ipad slowly grinds to a halt and locks up while using the app. I have to keep rebooting to finish reading articles. I suspect it’s all the click bait scam adds running in the background. I’m deleting this from my devices

You can’t even report on the 2025 Seattle hydro race , your sport reporting isPathetic to say the least , try supporting hydro racing just a little !!

The staff at KIRO 7 should not be news reporter they don’t know how to search for news so they put most of the time all sports in national news section!
Not user friendly
App does not work in landscape mode on iPad. Also the headline sometimes disappears and then can not be found easily. The advertisement placement is horrid.
