Displays tons of clickbait ads
News may be OK but really take maybe 10% of the app. The rest are clickbait near-scam junk ads for non-existent discounts, BS weight loss aids, etc. Yes it is ads supported, and it is fine, but at least show something real and decent.
App not great
App is useless most of the time. If I get a notification of a live update for a story that I am interested in, I often miss a lot of important info by the time the mandatory 30+ second add finishes.
Too many errors in the stories
There are too many errors in the news reports online. Somehow have words that are left out and some are misspelled words. Also, when you click on the link you receive on the phone via text a lot of times the links do not go to the stories.
Doesn’t work
Try to open on iPhone and says unable to open app. Deleted and downloaded. Same issue. Tried to contact KIRO app help but takes you to their News website.
Dual videos
30 sec long repeating ads between news clips that are almost always less long than that - no thanks.
