About

Kitchen charts that answer the question actually in front of you, and tools that do the tedious parts of cooking for you. THE CHARTS - FREE, ALWAYS Cups to grams, ounces to milliliters, and back again. Oven temperatures in Fahrenheit, Celsius and gas mark. What a cup of each thing actually weighs, ingredient by ingredient - because a cup of flour and a cup of honey are nowhere near the same, and this is the table that settles it. Cake tins and pans listed by what they hold, so you can tell which ones swap for which. Matching the width tells you nothing; volume does. Safe internal temperatures for every cut of meat, with the distinction that matters spelled out: a whole steak and ground beef are not the same number, and blade-tenderized beef is a third. Resting times, and where to put the thermometer. Cooking times for vegetables and seafood, including what "done" actually looks like, because the piece size on your board is not the one the chart assumed. How long food keeps on the counter, in the fridge and in the freezer, and how much of that changes the moment the packet is opened. Substitutions with the amounts, and with the recipes they will not work in. Oil for butter is fine in a quick bread and wrong in pastry, and the chart says so. YOUR RECIPES Write a recipe by hand, or photograph one and have it typed out for you: ingredients, steps and timings, ready to save. A recipe on a web page rarely fits in one screenshot, so take several as you scroll and they are stitched into one. If something looks missing between two photos you are told, instead of having a step invented to cover the gap. Scale any recipe to the number you are cooking for. Switch it between imperial and metric in either direction - amounts and oven temperatures both, with converted amounts landing on the fractions your measuring cups are actually marked in. Share a recipe by message, email or AirDrop. PLANNING AND SHOPPING A week of dinners built around the recipes you have already saved, laid out as a calendar so you can replan a single night without disturbing the rest of it. Kids' menus are part of the plan, not a footnote. Twins can have genuinely matching plates. Allergies and special diets shape the whole week instead of being bolted on at the end. One shopping list with the quantities added up properly rather than estimated - and you can build one from any recipes you pick, not only from a plan. Two recipes that both want onions come out as one line, not two. Light and Dark themes, alongside the original. The charts and your own recipes are free, with no account and no limit. The Recipe Reader and the Meal Planner are subscriptions, sold separately so you only pay for the one you use. Either can be taken by the week to try it first, and there is a bundle for both. There are no ads anywhere in the app. SUBSCRIPTIONS The Recipe Reader and the Meal Planner are auto-renewable subscriptions, each available by the week or by the month, with a bundle for both. The length and price of each are shown in the app before you buy anything. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings after buying. What's New in Kitchen Tools & Recipes

3.0

September 3, 2026

Version 3.0 is a rebuild, and it does far more than read charts. RECIPE READER Photograph a recipe and get it back typed out: ingredients, steps and timings. A recipe on a web page rarely fits in one screenshot, so take several as you scroll and they are stitched into one. If a step looks missing between two photos you are told, rather than having one invented to fill the gap. WRITE YOUR OWN Type a recipe in by hand, or edit one after it has been read. Hand-written recipes scale, convert and add up on the shopping list exactly like scanned ones. Share any of them by message, email or AirDrop. MEAL PLANNER Plan a week around the recipes you have saved, as a calendar you can replan one night of. Kids' menus are built in, twins can have genuinely matching plates, and allergies shape the whole plan instead of being an afterthought. SHOPPING LISTS Build one from a plan, or from any recipes you pick. Quantities are added up properly, so two recipes that both want onions come out as one line. BIGGER CHARTS More than twice the rows, and two new ones: what a cup of each ingredient weighs, and which cake tins swap for which. Safe temperatures for every cut of meat, roasting times, how long food keeps once opened, and substitutions that say where the swap stops working. The first column stays put while you scroll. ALSO - Imperial and metric in both directions, on any recipe and any shopping list - Light and Dark themes, alongside the original - Rebuilt for current iPhones and iPads The charts and your own recipes stay free, with no account and no limit. The Recipe Reader and the Meal Planner are separate subscriptions, so you only pay for the one you use, and either can be taken by the week to try it first.
