The app is terrible
My food is cold because I didn’t know cutlery was inside the fridge. The app won’t let me open the fridge again even though it said it was open. I asked a hospital worker for help and they told me nothing they can do. Apparently I missed my opportunity for cutlery.
Pointless heating it up unless they want me to eat entrees with my hands?
I couldn’t unfreeze the app even after force closing and opening again.
Login experience was frustrating first time.

Rip off
I was at Cortellucci Vaughn Hospital in the ER attending to a loved one so I’m at a vulnerable time. I couldn’t eat any of the other dishes as they had too much spice in them e.g. jerk chicken but I chose a very easy and clean chicken wrap.
Firstly the chicken wrap was absolutely sad. The type you would expect from a vending machine but you seem to know what you’re doing by charging a lot more for them and using fresh ingredients maybe? It’s an $8+ wrap after taxes.
That’s my next thing. You charges taxes separate like it’s a cafe or restaurant but ALL vending machines charge tax in. Include the taxes! That was not very transparent
In the end,

Issues that don’t make sense
I’m having a lot of issues with the app and all the data is misplaced. I was able to purchase something but it didn’t make sense to me. I picked up a cold order and then it told me a few minutes later that my meal failed to cook. It doesn’t make sense.

App keeps crashing
I’m giving 3 stars because the app keeps crashing. This is the third time I’ve had to delete the app and reinstall it. When it works, it works great! But otherwise, frustrating!
White screen issues resolved
UPDATE: Originally left a 2-star review, but I was able to resolve the white screening issue by fully deleting the app, re-downloading from App Store and then logging in again. I still maintain that this is a top priority to fix, as it is a pretty terrible onboarding experience for new users to get stuck so soon.
Bumping rating to 4 stars now that I have tried the full app flow on a few occasions. I really enjoyed the micro store experience and the convenience of having cooked meals 24/7. The food was fresh and delicious (certainly better than most frozen meals), portion sizes were decent (though I would preferred slightly more food), and the cooker heated the meals evenly and to a warm enough temperature.
The main downside is that the app requires a constant internet connection and can sometimes feel sluggish (especially true when phone is not on WiFi - one time it felt like it took over 10 seconds to unlock the fridge door for example).
Still a great experience and concept overall, and I have referred my company to KitchenMate for consideration in our office.

App stopped working
After the latest update, the app wouldn’t open. It was working fine before the recent updates. Please fix it.
Horrible app
Always lagging, many bugs, now i’m trying to get lunch and the app isn’t even loading up although my internet is perfectly fine. Guess i’ll stay hungry for accidentally relying on kitchenmate. Avoid and save your money.
Too many updates
I’m in a rush, I want a great quick meal available in office and… ugh. App out of date again! Please update. Now instead of cooking a delicious meal I’m updating the app again and writing this review. Stop forcing updates for bug and improvements we don’t notice!
Surprisingly tasty meals
When I first got introduced to KitchenMate I was quite skeptical but after having tried the food I have to say I’m impressed. Healthy, tasty, affordable meals available whenever at work!
Rating system is very deceptive
I am listed as having liked a particular meal despite having given it a poor review/feedback.
Because the app is notifying my colleagues that I enjoyed the meal (minus my actual review), I find the practice highly deceptive, to the point that people ordered based on my faked feedback.

Apple Pay support
Really need to provide support to pay using Apple Pay!
Dietary restrictions questionable at best
You can input what diet your on to limit your choices but if your actually allergic to a type of food (gluten) they don’t give you the ability filter or very many options. Also everything is made in the same kitchen so pretty much everything is exposed to cross contamination.
