Klewos Word Search & Languages

"温故知新" "Review the old, know the new." That's a yojijukugo, a Japanese idiom written in four kanji. It also happens to describe this update. Klewos gets a new gameplay mode: Compounds. You start from a single kanji, learn its meaning and its readings, then find the words built on it. 電 is electricity. Add 話 (talk) and you get 電話, the telephone. Add 車 (vehicle) and you get 電車, the train. Forty roots and 179 compounds to find. Compounds is limited to Japanese for now, and other languages will follow. Japanese learners also get a new category, JLPT N5 Kanji (103 words), and a new sentence set, Yojijukugo: 27 idioms, including the one above. Those learning French, Spanish and Italian will also discover new Sentence Sets (Proverbs, Idioms and Animal Idioms) for a grand total of 280 new sentences. We also fixed the layout of a few screens when the device rotates, and corrected a number of translations in lessons and categories. Happy word searching!
