User reviews

Worth every star

FINALLY! I can read everything with one app. The developer listens to bug reports and user input too.

Great Interface with a Few Kinks

Love this app - the look of it, the customization, the easy controls. Almost a 5/5.
Some issues that hopefully could be fixed easily.
- Sometimes the bottom navigation bar on the bottom of the reader view appears midway up the screen.
- When scrolling up and down the reader view, it feels too easy to accidentally trigger the UI to fade in.

Hope to see further improvement, have my support.

Response from developer

Thank you for the kind words and the detailed feedback — both points are exactly the kind of report we need. The overlay fading in too easily: version 1.2.4 adds a setting in Settings › Reading, "Show reader controls", so you can choose a single tap (as before) or a double tap. In scroll mode, touching the page just to stop the scrolling no longer shows the bars either. The bottom bar appearing midway up the screen: we haven't been able to reproduce it yet (we tested rotation, iPad and iPhone, and the search keyboard). It would help a lot to know your device and whether you read in Split View or Stage Manager. App Store replies don't let us follow up, so the quickest way to sort it out is through Settings › Support & Feedback in the app — we'll answer you directly there.

perfect app for viewing self hosted comics

This app is fantastic as a free app for viewing comics you have self hosted via kavita. There are other apps out there but they are either awful or it’s a premium feature to connect to your own server.
