Receipt
Why isn’t the receipt option there? We were able to take pictures of our receipt and get points but now that’s not available.
Glitchy & slow
Just as the title says, this app is glitchy and slow. Why does it take so long to move to the next selection or next screen in the ordering process?

Not sure where the problem lies, but coupons don’t work or if the coupon works the store doesn’t get the order.
Disappointed
I ordered the berry pecan salad and it did not have the pecans on it! They were out of the key like croissants I ordered too. I paid extra for delivery services. It’s not he first time they have messed up my order!
Huge issue with order through app
My biggest issue is that there is no way to get credit /refund for missing items. And EVERY SINGLE ORDER I have made has been missing an item. Especially pastries - if they are out they don’t sub with something else they just skip it - with no way to get your money back. It’s infuriating. Their food is great but better to order through DoorDash or something where you can get a refund if something is not there.

Edited: changed from 5 stars to 3, because our order was wrong. Previous: The app is much better than it used to be. It was so glitchy in the past, that we stopped ordering from Kneaders. I decided to try it again today and it worked great. I don’t know if it’s been updated since then or what, but thank you!

Bring back the previous app
The previous app gave the option to add extra salad dressings. Why not add this option to this….new version?
I went in and asked for an extra dressing and was told that there’s a charge! For a large salad I do need 2 dressings!

Receipt option removed
We love Kneaders’ soups and salads. The app is simple and easy to use. However, I used to be able to scan receipts after a purchase. As someone that doesn’t always have their phone ready to go and who also often forgets about reward option at different food places it was great! However with the app updates that option has been removed and it is a disservice to clients. Many other restaurants that have reward apps allow you to scan a receipt after a purchase within a timeframe if you didn’t scan at the restaurant. Bring back this feature!

Bring back customizable options!!
Please bring back customize option. I used to be able to customize salads and add certain veggies but it no longer allows that. There’s no point in having the app if you can’t order what you want ahead of time.
I miss the old app!
I thought the old app was great, but they’ve replaced it with a redesigned app recently, and I am not a fan of the new layout. I really miss the old layout. The old layout was visually appealing and easy to use. The new app is just boring and tedious and I am not a fan at all!
* update: The new app is even worse than I previously realized. Kneaders is a bakery, but the new app will no longer allow us to order bread or rolls now. Ridiculous.

Meh
Since the change in the app, I noticed how I frequently eat here less than I did before. This version is very confusing. It never gives me the option to order the items that I specifically go here for, my rewards reduced to half because of the new reward system, I can’t look at just a menu without having to make a mock order, plus some options don’t have images. I can adapt to change, but it seems to be more work than functional when using the app.

Alicia did an amazing job
Today I picked up Catering order that Alicia put together. Not only did she have it ready on time it was organized and she went above and beyond making sure I had everything I needed to have a successful breakfast this morning at my account. Outstanding job.
Two steps back
This new version typifies how things just get worse as they progress. This new version is clunky and slow. The previous version certainly had its issues, but it was responsive, clean, and straightforward. The new version looks like it was designed in 2012, and every time you change screens the stupid kneaders loading thing pops up and stays for 5-10 seconds. Did you tap into the wrong category, easy to do because all the icons are pictures of rolling pins? Well, there goes 20-30 seconds of your life watching the “K” fold and unfold.
When customizing your dish, the “standard” ingredients are mixed in with the optional additional ones? And they also show an upgrade price? It is super not obvious how to remove an ingredient.
But, my favorite was the 5 step checkout process… if you could add a few more screens to that, that would be great. Maybe put one field on each screen!
Where did your rewards go? Remember how you could just apply them at checkout? No more!
Finally, why is it bugging me to allow it to have full time access to location services?!?
Update (Dec 2024): I continue to find myself frustrated by this app. When creating an order, I have to choose pickup or delivery time. Then I have to choose my items. By the time I finish that, my time slot is gone and it forces me to pick another time. If you want to remove an ingredient from a sandwich, some ingredients are in the “No…” section, but others are under one of the “Sub (…)” section. If you love hunting through expansion panels, this is the app for you!
Just use DoorDash.

Old app was way better
Old app was better this new update it slow and a pain. You can’t even ask for extras. No option to choose your rewards either
Missing Order
I received less than half the order and they were all smashed together.
Terrible - let’s you order but they don’t actually have it
Don’t use the app here unless you like paying for things they don’t have
