Great app
Been using this app for years now. It's a great reference for identifying and classifying different steels (not just for knives) from across the globe.
Is the app still being updated?
App is awesome but some relatively newer steels have not been added and the entries don’t seem to have been updated at all in like 4 years.
Very Helpful App
This app is very good for somebody who wants to be able to look up a kind of steel without having to go and search for. The only thing that had had was a way to compare different deals side-by-side. Considering it’s free there’s gotta be some give.

A must for a blade aficionado!
I use this to learn and also judge my next purchases by. If you like blades of any kind. This is a must have app. I have collected knives for almost 50 years. I will open the app during a layover or waiting on a customer for a meeting. I learn something every time I open it up.
