The count is per tab, so it follows whatever you're looking at. - New: two switches in Options > Display turn off the on-page interface. "Show the corner Knockoff button" hides the bottom-right button, and "Show the filtered count on the page" hides the corner pill. Both stay on by default. With both off, Knockoff still filters, the count still shows on the toolbar icon, and hidden items are still recoverable from the panel.
