What's New in Knox Bins
2.3.0
August 29, 2026
Fixing the bin-date mismatch — and making sure it can't happen again. • Fixed a problem where some of you saw bin dates that didn't match the council website. The council changed some of its internal address codes, and the app kept asking about the old code — so after refreshing it could show the wrong house's schedule. We're sorry for the confusion this caused. • Your schedule now heals itself: every refresh re-confirms your address against the council's current records and automatically re-binds to the latest code, so the dates always match the official website. • The app now quietly re-syncs when you open it — even if you never pull to refresh, your bin day stays up to date. If the council server is down or returns bad data, your saved schedule is protected and stays unchanged. • Stricter data checks: bad server data can never overwrite your correct schedule again.
