Renewal Subscription through Apple Does Not Wok
As others have said, If your membership lapse and you got to renew it via Apple’s Subscription function. It will charge you but not actually give you access to Knox News. Knox News can’t see who’s joined via Apple. It’s a real cluster and Knox News can’t honor same price as app even if you buy through website. Also $149 via the website but only $69.99 via the app for a one year subscription!?! That’s a 112% markup for the same product. Shame on you Gannett.

One of the best newspapers…that provides or covers the home area …. and various interest.
Keep doing what you’re doing … because the paper provides news on many aspects both local & nationally. Particularly I enjoy reading what’s happening locally, educational happenings & sports (both college & high schools). The paper shows a balance in the local & national news. I just enjoy reading this newspaper mainly because it hasn’t forgotten the local folks & how their stories are so impactful not only locally but nationally. Finally the sports section is so well covered!! My impression is this newspaper just gives the facts which inspires one’s desire to pick up & read.

Am I subscribed or not?
I tried to sign in this morning. Had to reset my password, then found out my subscription had lapsed. Updated my subscription and identified my priority topics—still problems with my password but finally solved that. Invited to download the app and did— entered my password yet again. Now I’m in the app and it keeps popping up asking me if I want to subscribe. What does it take exactly to read your newspaper. I wanted to read an article, not start an epic journey.

Once again trying to sign in after renewing showed I was not a subscriber. I use my Apple iPhone to reactivate but to no avail

The whole process of entering into the esubscription repeats itself or does not work. After having the subscription for several years I get a notice to,renew.

Editing issues
More often than I would like to see, there are editing issues like double words, missing words or correctly, spelled, but wrong words in articles. They should be caught by a human editor and not rely upon “spell check” or automatic editing to find and correct these issues. I find examples of this almost daily.

I love a physical paper but when I am traveling or not at home the epaper is tremendous.

Immediately experienced technical issues.
I contacted the Customer Service team. To start with, there was a definite language barrier.
Secondly, the representative seemed unfamiliar with how to resolve the issue.
It’s worth noting that I had similar experiences when I had a subscription back in 2018.
After spending 45 minutes on the phone I decided to just cancel my subscription.
