This is the worst
This is my first time complaining about something. And it kept saying something needed to be replaced so after it was replaced it kept saying it. Nothing worked no matter what me and my family did. Also the photos would only be yellow and then it stopped saying it need to be replaced and then another bc we thought it was a bad one then it didn’t do ANYTHING! THIS IS THE WORST CAMERA EVER I DON’T RECOMMEND!

Can’t choose photos
I can’t choose photos from my photo gallery and I cannot edit them either. Waste of time and money.
Terrible photo quality
The resolution and color quality of the prints comes out very poor even when using high resolution images. I’m hoping to get a refund. I’ve emailed customer service and am waiting to hear back.
No setting for passports any longer
This printer used to make passport photos easy. With the new update it’s just trial and error wasting stacks of photos paper trying to get it right. Look elsewhere before you buy this printer / use the app.
Cut my photo by default
why it cut my photo's edges by default? I have to adjust manually for every single photo. So stupid design.
Horrible product
Asks to replace cartridge even though it’s brand new and still has pictures in it!
It has some issues :/
It worked for a while but then started saying the the cartridge needs replacing even when I had just replaced it. I emailed customer service about it and they recommended deleting and re downloading the app which I did and it worked once and then stopped working once again, saying cartridge needs replacing when it is brand new. Apart from that, it usually works well and the pictures turn out great.

Stopped working !
This printer used to work great! After the most recent firmware update it gives a cartridge error and won’t print. Gave this as a Christmas gift because I loveD mine so much and it doesn’t work. Please fix!!!!!
I enjoy it, but images are low quality
Overall, I’m really enjoying this printer dock. I learned a lot in only a short amount of time in order to get the best results. And it sure beats using my printer ink. When I just want one photo for my picture frame, I don’t have to order photos online or waste my ink. This dock gives me a simple, quick and easy way to just get a photo out. I managed to get the printer to print my photos on the OLD app (don’t use the new one, it won’t work. Just flip back into the old app pulled up on your phone and it will run just fine).
The only thing I didn’t like is the quality of the photos. I’m not looking for uber-professional quality, but this is only decent. And for the price you have to pay for new toner cartridges and sheets over time may not be worth the outcome of the photos. But it’s mostly for fun anyway, so if you don’t mind a decent image, this will work just fine.
But I’m not only talking about “low resolution”, I’m also talking about the color quality, the brightness, and the photo matching accuracy (for a lack of better terminology). My images that were on the bright side of color (yellow, white, orange, pink, bright red) came out way to bright compared to the original picture. I had to reduce the brightness setting to 40% (normal is 50%) in order to get a decent image.
The binding colors of yellow, magenta, and cyan tend to create a image that appears blurry even if your photo was a high resolution, thus resulting in a not-so-similar photo result. But again, this is a quick and fun way to get your images fast without using your printer INK..
the cartridges don’t “run out” the way ink would. These toners are built specifically for the amount specified on the cartridge. 40 sheets = 40 sheets, and you don’t have to guess if you’re going to have enough. As long as you have enough sheets, your cartridge SHOULD run the full amount. (Unless for some reason you damage the cartridge because the sheets got jammed, which I’ve done, an accident on my part…)

App crashes every time I try to hit print
Can’t print anything as the app immediately crashes when I hit the print button. What a waste.
Frustrating new version….
This is the new version for the Kodak printer. Ever since Kodak made me update to this version….the other app will not work….my printer does not work properly at all. The printer worked perfectly all the time with the other app. Now it jams or doesn’t work or something happens all the time. Very frustrating. I hope Kodak fixes this issue immediately because I’m getting very frustrated. I’ve had this printer for over a year and have printed tons of pics.

Garbage
Extremely convoluted setup. Does not print the whole picture, part of it it cut off even though I already painstakingly formatted the image beforehand. The printer and app are both worthless. How can a multi billion dollar company screw up something so simple this badly?

I love this app. All the images I have printed came out amazingly well. I can now remember all my past memories.
Does not work
Wasted 2 sheets on just yellow printed paper then said lost connection. The printer is junk as well. I bought 7 extra paper packs and I can only get maybe 3 photos to print and the rest of the sheets won’t feed. Worst $70 I spent!
Why do you need microphone access?
New app will not print photos to printer unless I give it microphone access. There is zero need for you to access my microphone.
If this is a bug, fix it fast or allow your old printer program to run without relaying is to your new invasive app. The old one that worked is ‘Kodak instant print’

One of the worst apps I’ve ever bought dont buy this garbage
Infinite loop of firmware update
Whether Android or Apple results same. Attempts to print photo call for mandatory firmware update that on Android never complete and on Apple that complete but the. Start again on next attempt to print a photo. Device shall be returned.
Bare bones functionality. UI defects all over
This application looks like It was an after thought. The app resolution does not fit an iPhone 11. Buttons are out of view on the tutorial. The Instagram share now button looks like we are in 2008. It’s clunky. And it does not even work. It says coming soon. Why ship out this function if it’s not ready. This app needs a serious overhaul. Had it been carefully updated, this product would be a serious hot item. As such the app makes it meh. It’s ok. And gets the job done.

Why no extension?
You should be able to print from iOS Photos. The app should offer an extension to Photos to allow printing from Photos. It could send the image to the app for cropping or editing, but choosing images in the app is a horrible user experience. Teeny thumbnails! Use Photos! Much better experience.
