Great App, BUT
Great app, but occasionally it tells me the in-app purchases are unavailable and then I have to restore them. That creates a reliance on the internet. I know internet is very common, but please fix this. The other apps that connect to Korg Gadget lose their in-app purchases too and I have to click restore. I've purchased all the Korg Gadget gadgets and the Korg apps that add gadgets to the Korg Gadget app. I should never have to restore purchases on devices that I have been using these apps on for a very long time.

It’s a very fun groove box on steroids
If you can get along with the simple sequencer (very normal piano roll sequencer that can easily record what you play and with some other integrated features), this could be your best musical friend. It costs a bit to turn the whole thing on but you don’t need to buy it all (I started off telling myself that at least) and the stuff that comes with it even using no iaps, it is killer for a groove box.
But all the presets and in app purchases from all the Korg apps come back and work in here. There’s a version of all of their iOS synths and they are even all auv3s now (each individual instrument on its own, not Gadget as one, and you can’t bring auv3s into Gadget, just fwiw)
If you happen to own the sick and awesome Korg keystage as your midi controller or are contemplating purchasing one, this is THE WAY. Every little dial, transfer control and digital screen automatically assigns and works with Gadget 3 AND with Module.
This and Module are super powerful with Korg keystage as your midi keyboard/controller. That integration is what drove me to finally write a review for this app I’ve been using for many years happily.

Korg Gadget 3 is My Permanent go to But can you ?
Can you do an update to be able to do track bouncing, and copy, paste, merging ….etc
USER BEWARE DEVASTATED
I used to really love this app it was my go to for YEARS. Out of the blue yesterday crashed on startup, I restarted my phone several times & same result, no new updates, so only option was to uninstall & reinstall app to see if that would fix it, but I found out the hard way this app does NOT SAVE YOUR DATA. So beware on deleting, so many years of projects gone in an instant.

There’s no sampler?
Finding out that I just spent 40 bucks and there’s no sampler included, what a downer!
Easy Ableton integration
I have all the Gadgets on my PC as VSTs, so when I open a Gadget project in Ableton it’s all there, automations and everything. This makes it super easy to start projects when the inspiration hits on my iPad, then fine tune them in Ableton. Total game changer!

Changed my life
I never thought that something could change my life so much. This application has gotten me through some of the hardest and most difficult times in my life. I never knew I was a musician, but now I’m making a song for my son. 10 years of learning piano…. Trying all different applications… this is the one that I will make this song with… thank you developers for creating something that I can go to when I have nowhere to turn… I find love inside of making music… I must sound crazy, but it’s true.. thank you

I love KORG
KORG Gadget has given me wings as a musician. I have been using KORG synthesizers since the DS-10 for Nintendo DS, and I especially loved the M01D. KORG Gadget has the best of the old sounds and the most expected of modern sounds. The workflow is seamless, and, though it may not be considered a DAW, I find I can produce high quality tracks, for the most part self-mastered. The more I work with it the more appreciative I am of KORG and its software. I recommend this app for simplicity, capability, and powerful sound. It keeps up with the modern demand for high quality audio, and I swear by it. Thank you, KORG!

Update has caused memory error
After the update I have lost all of my songs and projects, I am athlete devastated by this and I’ll probably stop using this app cause of this
Reduziert ist manchmal besser
Man konzentriert sich mehr auf das Songschreiben. Keine DAW ist so schnell wie Gadget. Die meisten Synths so so simple, den Sound den man sucht hat man schnell gefunden. Das einzige was mir fehlt ist ein linearer Sequenzer.

More Sample Options
Been with this app for years and absolutely love it. If anything, I would love to see more sample library options for Sydney, Stockholm, Bilbao and Abu Dhabí gadgets. We have enough instruments already, this device would benefit greatly with more character from samples… good ones, not repeats of someone rerecording samples of Korg Gadget instruments.

Love this App, Please separate store from the main recording and mixing part of the app.
I have spent so much money on Korg Hardware, Apps, Gadgets, and Expansions. It would be really nice to separate the store and any Gadgets I haven’t used from the Gadget Selection screen. I feel like I’m being forced to buy every single instrument even though I really have no use for the vintage video game ones, it would be nice not to have these distractions while working on Music. It would also be nice to discount the Mac version for iOS owners who have spent over $200 in Gadgets and Expansions.

You should still be able to have a separate part of the Gadgets app for buying new gadgets, just like your other apps have a separate store section and don’t have to see things they haven’t purchased when scrolling through expansions they have purchased. I should be able to go through the gadgets I’ve purchased without being forced to see all the overpriced 8 bit video game gadgets I have no want or need for.

Fantastic, but for less obvious reasons…
Great DAW, but not my first go to - HOWEVER, the synths alone that are bundled with this are well worth the asking price, as they are all AUv3 and fully compatible with other major DAWs on this platform. Accessing them is very, very simple too. Upon initial purchase you immediately have full access to 19 plugins, including 4 feature-packed drum machines and more than 10 synths. Other plugins are available as IAPs, but that’s up to you…

音は良いのですが、購入しないと使えない音源でGaragebandなどのaudio unit一覧を埋めるの本当にやめて欲しいなと思いました
