Changed my life

I never thought that something could change my life so much. This application has gotten me through some of the hardest and most difficult times in my life. I never knew I was a musician, but now I’m making a song for my son. 10 years of learning piano…. Trying all different applications… this is the one that I will make this song with… thank you developers for creating something that I can go to when I have nowhere to turn… I find love inside of making music… I must sound crazy, but it’s true.. thank you

The best mobile DAW ever

It’s just the best software available for iOS. Along with the other Korg apps it fully featured. There’s no better just try.

Korg has done it again!

This is the most fun I’ve had creating Music!

I love KORG

KORG Gadget has given me wings as a musician. I have been using KORG synthesizers since the DS-10 for Nintendo DS, and I especially loved the M01D. KORG Gadget has the best of the old sounds and the most expected of modern sounds. The workflow is seamless, and, though it may not be considered a DAW, I find I can produce high quality tracks, for the most part self-mastered. The more I work with it the more appreciative I am of KORG and its software. I recommend this app for simplicity, capability, and powerful sound. It keeps up with the modern demand for high quality audio, and I swear by it. Thank you, KORG!

Update has caused memory error

After the update I have lost all of my songs and projects, I am athlete devastated by this and I’ll probably stop using this app cause of this

More Sample Options

Been with this app for years and absolutely love it. If anything, I would love to see more sample library options for Sydney, Stockholm, Bilbao and Abu Dhabí gadgets. We have enough instruments already, this device would benefit greatly with more character from samples… good ones, not repeats of someone rerecording samples of Korg Gadget instruments.

Love this App, Please separate store from the main recording and mixing part of the app.

I have spent so much money on Korg Hardware, Apps, Gadgets, and Expansions. It would be really nice to separate the store and any Gadgets I haven’t used from the Gadget Selection screen. I feel like I’m being forced to buy every single instrument even though I really have no use for the vintage video game ones, it would be nice not to have these distractions while working on Music. It would also be nice to discount the Mac version for iOS owners who have spent over $200 in Gadgets and Expansions.

Your response makes it seems like you are not even reading or listening to what I said. You should still be able to have a separate part of the Gadgets app for buying new gadgets, just like your other apps have a separate store section and don’t have to see things they haven’t purchased when scrolling through expansions they have purchased. I should be able to go through the gadgets I’ve purchased without being forced to see all the overpriced 8 bit video game gadgets I have no want or need for.

Fantastic, but for less obvious reasons…

Great DAW, but not my first go to - HOWEVER, the synths alone that are bundled with this are well worth the asking price, as they are all AUv3 and fully compatible with other major DAWs on this platform. Accessing them is very, very simple too. Upon initial purchase you immediately have full access to 19 plugins, including 4 feature-packed drum machines and more than 10 synths. Other plugins are available as IAPs, but that’s up to you…

iCloud and AUM custom presets bugs

When opening a saved Gadget project, custom presets (for example saved in Vancouver or Sydney) using iCloud samples produce no sound. I have to load a different preset, then load the original saved preset.

Also, when loading AU Gadget versions in AUM, my user preset folders are completely blank.

Essential

I made my first complete Korg Gadget project twelve years ago on a second generation iPad. All these years later I have over 100 "keeper" Gadget projects - 5+ hours of music. I have DAWs (including the Mac version of Gadget) and a ton of soft synths, but Gadget on my iPad is my go-to composition tool. It is an inspiration machine that lets me compose anywhere my muse strikes. Now on an m4 iPad, I am grateful that Korg continues to release new Gadgets and sound packs that help me bust out of a rut. Korg synths have always sounded great, and the pairing with the Keystage 49 is just brilliant.

Version 3 is an evolution

You need this. Amazing

Korg has definitely helped spread the Joy of Music Creation across the World, Analog and Digital.

From their Classic Iconic Analog Synths and Digital Workstations, to their Volcas and iOS apps, I do truly appreciate all of the creative hardware and software Korg had invented. The iOS apps and Volca series may seem like toys and not serious music making devices but they are extremely professional and fun at the same time. Ultimately Music is about having Fun, Connecting with People, Feeling and Expressing Emotions. Korg has definitely proven this with their iOS apps and Volca Devices, I appreciate them making Analog and Professional Music Creation more accessible and affordable to the World. Thank You Korg.

Gadgets UI Outdated and Overpriced, Not Justifiable for the Money

This app may get constant updates but there are little updates done to the Gadgets themselves. These are essentially plugins, and these plugins have very outdated UIs. They remind me of Logic Pro’s Legacy Plugins. These Gadgets should not still cost the same amount of money as they did 7 years ago. There are way more beautiful and advanced iOS Auv3 and DAW apps out there now. I am heavily disappointed with the amount of money it takes to invest in Korg’s iOS ecosystem, there are way too many IAPs. There should at least be discounted bundles for all Gadgets, the Mac version should not cost separate, it should be one unified app. It feels like robbery and theft what you’re doing Korg. I am very hurt by the music industry and the synth industry seeing how much they can pinch and squeeze out of passionate music people. A lot of these Gadgets should be free now, the rest should be discounted for good, not just for some temporary promotion. I remember when I got my first nanokey studio and nanokontrol studio back in the day and they didn’t even include any of the Module or Gadget software they promoted with it. You all seriously should include a discounted bundle for those hardware owners, for iPad and iPhone users too, not just Macs. So many IAPs, so many additional fees. It’s robbery. It’s literally financial trickery and theft. Do Better Korg. Be Better.

Almost perfect

Two things make it not get 5 stars: iCloud samples loaded on kits, even when present with ”keep downloaded”, fail to load on Bilbao after you close the app. Same happens if samples are loaded through Audioshare. And no layered velocity / rr drum sampler like Osaka for custom drums.

Release MEMPHIS for iPHONE PLEASE

Release MEMPHIS for iPHONE PLEASE

Incroyable une fois pris en main

Le fonctionnement n’est pas intuitif au départ mais une fois compris c’est top. Surtout en synchro avec des volcas !

So expensive if you want all add-ons

Good app but have to invest so much if you want the full package.

Cool.

This is so awesome I mean this is the best I mean, this is WAY more better than GarageBand actually ! Five stars! IM A FIVE STARER, TWISTED FIVE STARER!

Let’s Get Emotional!

One of the most fun and amazing apps to make music with. It’s quick, intuitive and simple to use. Yet, don’t underestimate its powerful features and sound. I’ve done a ton of music with this and still keep finding myself comin back for more. Love the library expansions. Love the layout and stability. Graphics are absolutely beautiful. The more you use it, the more you’ll appreciate it… thanks Korg! 🫡
