About

Kosha is a complete money tracker that runs entirely on your phone. No account to create, no cloud to trust, no ads, and no subscription — you buy it once and everything in it is yours. Your entries are kept in an encrypted database on your own device. There is no Kosha server, so there is nothing to breach and nothing to sell. The app collects no analytics of any kind. RECORD IT IN SECONDS • A keypad built for money, with a calculator in it • Speak an entry — recognised on your device, never uploaded • Photograph a receipt and Kosha reads the total and the date, on the phone • Paste a bank or wallet alert and it becomes an entry, read by rules first and by your phone's own on-device model for anything unusual • Save the entries you make every week and post them again with one tap • Attach the receipt to the entry, encrypted with everything else ASK IT A QUESTION • "How much did I spend on food last month?" — answered from your own ledger, on this phone, with the entries it counted shown beneath • No question and no figure is ever sent anywhere SEE WHERE IT ACTUALLY WENT • Spending by category, by merchant, by account, and over time • Daily, calendar, monthly and summary views of the same month • Net worth over time, and what each account contributes • Tag an entry, or mark one to come back to, and pull the set up later • Write a note against a day or a month — the context a number cannot hold • Search every entry you have ever recorded, by note, merchant or detail STAY AHEAD OF IT • Budgets for the month or for a single category, with pace • Carry what you did not spend into next month, if that is how you think • Rent, salary, EMIs and subscriptions projected forward • Split a purchase across the months you are actually paying it over • Reminders before a bill falls due, and alerts as a budget runs down • Savings goals with the pace you would actually need BUILT FOR REAL ACCOUNTS • Banks, cash, wallets, credit cards, loans and investments • Credit card billing cycles: what is billed and unpaid, and what has been charged since the statement closed • Any currency, with reference rates and entries that keep the currency they happened in • Transfers between your own accounts, counted as neither spending nor income • Keep separate books — the household and the side business — in one app, each with its own accounts, budgets and totals ON YOUR HOME SCREEN • Home-screen and lock-screen widgets for spending, what is left, and cards • Quick entry without opening the app • Siri and Shortcuts, offering your real accounts and categories YOURS TO KEEP • Encrypted backups, to the device or to your own iCloud Drive • Restore on any device — a backup made on Android restores on iPhone • Export to CSV or Excel whenever you like, and import from other apps • An import that came in wrong can be undone in full, without touching a single entry you typed yourself • Type a long backlog from your computer's keyboard, over your own Wi-Fi only MADE YOURS • Fourteen colours, light and dark, with matching app icons and widgets • Twenty-one languages, set independently of your phone's • Categories and accounts you can rename, reorder, and put away when you stop using them without losing what they recorded • Lock it behind a PIN, Face ID or a fingerprint, and let the app switcher show its cover instead of your figures WHAT KOSHA DOES NOT DO It does not connect to your bank, and it does not sync between devices in this version — moving to a new phone is done with a backup file. There is no web version and no shared household account. All of it is said here rather than discovered after you have paid. Everything listed above is in the app you buy. There is no tier above it, no feature held back for a subscription, and no second purchase later.
