Stopped working

It used to work fine. For the past two weeks the main page that appears after logging in is empty/grey. And the buttons to add cards, text, images don't do anything anymore.

2022 update: I managed to get a “code” in e-mail; however, now I cannot enter a “username”. Please provide us with an e-mail address so we may contact your Team with problems such as this. I look forward to actually using your app on my iPad!
2021 review: Got an invite and went through sign-up procedure. Seems great so far. Apparently app is in very early stages. We can add a variety of media to an "infinite" whiteboard. I'll update my review as I use it more. Encountered a problem and have contacted developers...

Hello, sorry about that... We ask you to create an account to securely encrypt your data. We will add an anonymous « guest » mode later on but the data produced in that mode will be unencrypted. We do not store your password, we do not have access to your data in any way. We encrypt it on device and send it to a remote server only so that you can access it from multiple devices. If you open your account on another machine, the data is sent encrypted to that and unencrypted locally. Let me know if we can be helpful in any other way.

Don't be unfair

The app is still in beta, so I feel some of these reviews are unfair. I'm currently using Kosmik and recognize the potential of the software can be game-changing. I haven't had any issues so far and the team has been extremely responsive on Discord. Ana helped me with onboarding and she did a great job. I'm looking forward to the improvements coming in the pipeline.

Buggy, slow and devoid of documentation

It is not possible that this software has a 5.0 rating. There is no documentation, which on the surface isn't too bad, as one can kind of figure out how it works, but my goodness if it does work, it is slow.

Some times it doesn't work. I tried to upload 3 pdfs in a row and it uploaded the first two and I could never upload a document after that. You can't upload a figure unless it is in your pictures directory, which I don't use - My relevant figures are in downloads or on the desktop - so I can't upload figures.

Low and behold, I can't use Kosmik - yet.

Hello OldEngProf, we are deeply sorry about your experience with the app... You can upload pictures that are not in your Photos app by using the "File" object which will get access to your classic file system.
