It’s great, but….
This app is great. It keeps you up-to-date on what’s going on in the Bay Area and it’s super user friendly. , The only thing that I don’t like about this app is that I can’t change; or at least I haven’t figured out how to yet, change it to a specific city that I want to see what the weather is doing in. The only city I can see the actual weather for is San Francisco and we all know San Francisco is not like the rest of the area weather wise.
If anyone knows how to change the city, please let me know. .

Good for news .. but the ads that they promote are sketchy or downright deceptive.. you need to do better to protect yourself and others from the lawsuits that may arise from your ads…
Still advertising galore.
As I read an article about a slain family I need to dodge the advertisements and clickbait garbage that covers nearly 50% of the article. It continues to make my news experience strewn with trash.
The news itself is ok. Spell check and fact checking has left the media. To get the article out is all that’s important. I doubt this will improve either.

Unstoppable commercials
Unstoppable commercials immediately begin to play while I’m reading a news article, so I deleted the app. No more unstoppable commercials will obtrusively play while I’m reading a news article!
It’s ok
Showing news from 2/3 months ago and the app never update itself. Check the news in the morning and 5pm and it’s still showing the exact same thing.
Love the new station, but the app..
Video does not support PiP and also stops casting if the phone times out or is manually locked. Basically useless unless I want to exclusively use my phone to watch the app and do NOTHING else with my phone. Please update this.
No longer using app due to hijacking my audio
When listening to music or any other audio, it stops when I scroll down your new app.
Deceptive ad inserts
My one complaint with KTVU, among some of the other news apps, is the allowing of clearly deceptive ad inserts with misleading headlines mimicking legitimate news stories. There appears to be no filter at all.
Long Time Viewer
I grew up in San Lorenzo in the ‘60’s and 70’s, and have been a Bay Area native for all of my 50+ years. KTVU has been my staple for local news. It’s amazing to me in this day and age to see the longevity of all of the anchors staying on at a job for the number of years they do. They bring my neighborhoods to my open conscious every day.

Loud music on app
Noisy music is now playing on the app, and no way to mute it! It’s very annoying! The loud music is still playing when I sign onto the app to check the news! Please fix it!
