Do not Trust
Kucoin stole my family and our extended families entire savings and ruined us in 2021. We tried to call and email them and even were going to fly to their headquarters but we got no one to help us. Do not trust them, we are working on a case to get justice.
Unable to withdraw funds
I’ve had a Kucoin account for about 7 years. I funded the account easily and had a great time using their good range of services for years.
Recently though I wanted to withdraw some funds from the account, and they have refused to let me do so. They have quoted security concerns but I used a password and two different 2FA methods to login to my account and attempt the withdrawal. Their customer service team are disinterested and sloppy and ask for nonsensical things.
The current goose chase is them asking me to take screenshots from one of my other exchange wallets showing a specific transaction from 2021. Neither Kucoin or the other exchange offer a transaction history that far back…
This is all despite the transaction being relatively small ($2k) and me having done much larger transactions ($9k) in the past without any issues.
Do not fund an account on Kucoin with more money than you can afford to lose. They are unregulated and can restrict access to your own funds at will, without reason. Beware.

If your account has been inactive and you put your payment information on the app they charge a Dormancy Fee to your account. Do not download this is a scam
Scammy
No longer available in my country so I can’t login, however they are charging my account dormancy fees for no logging in and therefore gradually draining my assets. I’m not even able to login to view assets being affected. Seems like the KYC regulations are going a bit far and negatively affecting users. I don’t remember why I got this app but can guarantee there are better options to choose from.

An app ran by scammers
If you download this app, and add your payment information they will later start charging you “dormancy fees” if you ever stop using them app. It doesn’t get much more scammy than that. Avoid like the plague.

Just add a “Favorites” option
Loved the original KuCoin app but this version needs to add a favorites tab like the original has. Without a custom/favorites feed the app is clunky and not very user friendly. If you add a favorites option this app gets 5 stars from me.

Just add a “Favorites” option
Was a trader on the original app before the US got a stick up their rear and prohibited trading on KuCoin in the states. I still have the “legacy” app installed but also installed the “US allowed” app but miss the option of being able to create a custom/favorite list in the new app. I would certainly change my rating to 5 stars if a favorites option was added.

I really don't like giving 5 stars out because more often then not I get burned right after. However, Kucoin has been my go to crypto platform. Even with KYC, there was some issues with my account not showing verified when it was. Kucoin was nice enough to set my account to allow me full access until the issues were resolved on their side with the help of their team support especially Scott lucky the trust_cyber_brain on instagram
