Whatever it takes to fix this, please do it quickly. We have no other source for live-local news/weather, in the farm counties, without cable and too far for antennas.

Stop Auto Start Videos
Can you please make it so video doesn’t auto play when clicking into a story? If I’m trying to read an article in a public place and don’t have my sound down it just start blaring whether I have my phone on silent or not.
What happened??
This used to be my “go to” app for news in KS. The content structure was streamlined and super easy to read. The recent update to the 12 app now has me looking at what the other 2 stations have. The font is microscopic, the format is clunky, and the 30 seconds ads are way too long. This new format feels like a summer intern project.

Not Great
Too many ads. Also, there is no way that I can find to prevent videos from automatically playing when I click on a story. I want to read the story not watch a video with ads.
Terrible app
This is not a user friendly app, apparently AI controlled, can’t clear alerts , like the old app much better
Redesigned app is junk and this is not journalism
Hate that an ad pops up each time I open the app now. The feed is now more ads than news, and the quality of the news writing has been in a downward spiral for the last few years. The writing is often disjointed and incomplete. This is no longer a trusted source for journalism. So disappointing.
Crashes in Wichita
Really doesn’t tell the story, only tells parts. Let’s ask some questions , like how many tickets have been written by police dept each of the past five years. Break it out by year. Most of the increase in deaths and accidents are due to lack of enforcement by the WPD. The WPD has turned in to a reaction based dept similar to some other cities, they moved away from being proactive 2 years ago. And it is quite easy to see the results if you do your homework. Instead of writing a fluff piece based on a WPD official.

New updates make me want to delete
This app was fine, but a new update where every video auto plays is going to get me to delete the app.
Old notices
Too hard to get rid of old of old notices. Unless I don’t know how to do it anymore.
Dislike the updated app
When opening story, the advertisement auto play and play sound without a mute function. Also the Hutchinson college ad reappears after exiting a story. The swipe to next story was convenient. Now it is more clicks to get to the next story and have to deal with the college add.
Alert flag always present
I'll get used to the changes but the ALERT waiting indicator on phone home page is really annoying.
Forced ad watching
Each time I click on the app to get the latest news I have to watch an ad first. If this continues I will find another local news app.
Terrible app
This is so saturated with ads that it’s near unusable. Immediate ad when opening, tap a story notification and get a forced video ad, banners litter the screen. Immediate uninstall
Pathetic
This app just doesn’t work. As many others have said, it goes to a blank screen after showing you the advertisement. It does nothing else. Great job KWCH! How difficult in this day and age to have a working app?
Go back to school (elementary, not college)
Spelling and grammatical errors are a constant thing in the stories they post on the app. It’s annoying. On a side note, you tag a picture of an IOWA license plate on a story for potential new KANSAS plates? SMH
