Too many ads
I understand having ads, but consistently playing them during tornado warnings and other imminent threats are unnecessary and unacceptable. As someone with a deep fear of tornadoes I like listening to the live updates as they can calm me down. But I hate hiding in my bathroom with tornado sirens going off and having to watch Aaron Sachs & Associates for the 3rd time in a row just to be able to see the live updates again. That’s ridiculous.

Sells your info by default
I went to opt into weather notifications so i know when it’s raining, and i found under their ‘privacy’ section, you have to MANUALLY click OFF the box to have them NOT sell your information??
last i checked me installing your app for weather wasn’t me signing a contract for you to sell my personal info to whoever to make money.

Putting 30 second ads on a weather update could be the difference between life and death
Frustrating
I work outside on the daily so I pay attention to the weather more than most and especially to the hourly percentage of rain in the app. If you want an app that gets it mostly wrong, download this app because you’ll love it!! I’ll call off work because it says 95% chance of rain from 7am-9am and it won’t rain a drop. If we go into work because the chance is low it will rain all day.

Weather alerts lets us know what type of weather is in our area. Forecasters stay’s on air until severe weather is clear of our region. Thank you for keeping us informed!

The ads on this app are mostly if not ALL are false celebrity endorsements with “sponsors “ never fall for anything. Always research! I hope they work on filtering real vs fake because they certainly warn us about it. Why are these ads on our news app?

This app genuinely is one of the worst programmed apps I think I’ve ever downloaded. There are constant bugs, issues with loading the incorrect video, not loading the sound properly etc. You name it, this app probably has it as a bug. You would think that a weather app that you potentially need to check in an emergency would also not be riddled with ads. As far as I know it’s been years since I’ve received an update for this app, which is desperately needed. I cannot recommend this app to anybody until there has been more development support and numerous bug fixes.

Great app when I can keep it on my phone
Great app when I can keep it on my phone. Since it wants my location and Apple doesn’t know where I am it keeps disappearing and reappearing on my phone at Apple’s will.

We moved down here about 6 months ago and we were used to a phone alert telling us what the alert was and then we could go watch video. With this system all they say is there is a new alert … by the time you watch the ads and actually see what the alert is it could be too late. As a matter of fact I still have my app from Illinois active and I get messages just before KY3 telling me “flooding in your area, or tornado watch in effect for your area” then I go to video and they show me northwest AR and current video

They’ve updated it recently. This app is garbage. It’s not even worth having on your phone. It tells you nothing.
You can’t control the speed of the radar. There’s absolutely zero overlays, so you can’t track storms and can point your location. This app is garbage.

Ads?! Really?!?
I don’t have regular tv so this app is what I depend on to get my weather. The storm sirens just went off in Springfield—and I already knew there was a tornado watch in effect. So I grab my phone and open this app to see what’s going on. First -for whatever reason this all ALWAYS takes forever to load and open. It has always been like this on exert phone I’ve ever had. So we can’t blame it on that. So there’s anxiety already. THEN, when I click on the radar video, I have to watch a 30 second commercial before I can see the radar video! Not only is this super annoying, it is potentially dangerous! Do you really need to run a commercial and have sponsorship for an app that people depend on? Come on.

Not as accurate as the old weather guys were.
Sunny? They don’t know. Temperature? They don’t know. Let alone any real forecast. And they have no problem selling your location information.
