Norsk øvingsapp for teoriprøven for bil (klasse B) hos Statens vegvesen. Hele appen finnes også på engelsk.
L-appen helps you prepare for the Norwegian theory test for cars (class B), and tells you how much to practise each day to be ready in time.
QUESTIONS AND SYLLABUS
The app has more than 600 questions, written from the topic list of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (Statens vegvesen), the traffic rules and the road sign regulations. Every answer comes with an explanation of why it is correct. The syllabus is split into 14 chapters with over 140 short reading cards. Under Reference you will find the glossary, common traps on the test, all 46 warning lights in the car and how to use the wipers and lights.
TODAY'S GOAL
Enter the date of your test, and the app works out today's goal. If your test is in three weeks and you have just started, that is usually around 45 questions a day. It takes about 20 minutes.
The goal is based on how things are actually going for you: how many questions you have left, how often you get them wrong and how fast you answer. It is recalculated as you practise. If it looks tight, the app tells you, so you can add more days or practise a bit more. If you like, you get a reminder at the time you usually practise.
YOUR PROGRESS
Questions you get wrong come back until you know them. On Journey you can see how many questions you have met, how many you know, and how you are doing on the exam simulations. A graph shows your progress day by day. This is also where you tick off the courses you have taken, from the basic traffic course (trafikalt grunnkurs) to night driving (mørkekjøring).
MORE WAYS TO PRACTISE
• Exam simulation with 45 questions, the same number as the real test. Afterwards you go through all your answers.
• Traffic situations with junctions, roundabouts and priority roads.
• Sign blitz and Light blitz: quick timed games for signs and warning lights.
• Browse and learn: read the questions with the answers shown, without answering.
TWELVE LANGUAGES
The app is available in Norwegian, English, Arabic, Kurdish (Sorani), Turkish, Somali, Urdu, Ukrainian, Tigrinya, Spanish, Persian and Russian. The theory test itself can be taken in the first five. Hold down the language button to see the same text in Norwegian, so you recognise the words on the test. You can also choose another language there.
FREE TO START
You can practise for free a little every day. If you want to practise as much as you like, you buy access for the period you need. It is not a subscription, so nothing renews by itself.
You do not need an account. The app has no ads and does not sell your data.
Good luck on your test!
