The app is so so but the recordings Is what I was looking for for months
Brilliant, keep it up the job!
Great
Love it. I have used it for French and German - waiting for new sub to Spanish to show up.
Now a Paid Subscription
Used this app for years but now it’s a paid subscription.
Loved it, but quite can’t access it
I thought this was really fabulous and I don’t know why it’s so hard to get into or impossible for that matter. Why don’t you share it with the world again?
What happened?
I can’t log in with my old info, nor does it give the option to update my password or sign up again. It’s just a page of uselessness.
Decent stuff
Seems decent to me.
Not working
This app is no longer working with IOS 18. There is no way to get in or set up an account on the app. I went to the internet website and it now appears to be a paid subscription. Going in on the App Store, there is an assumption that I have a log in and password and no way to create an account. I have used this app for several years and it has Bern very helpful with my language development. I have changed nothing on my devices and had not actually upgraded to iOS 18 on my iPad and the same thing happened. Have you changed the platform?

Scam?
I just paid $19 monthly for Slow Italian. Directed to this app but I can’t get in as it asks for a website but says it doesn’t exist. Cancelling. I hope I get my money back.
Can’t login
I know this has been said before, but there is no way to create an account from the app. The developer keeps responding that is how all apps work - that you create an account from the website, then come back to the app. Newsflash! That IS NOT how all apps work! Most of them allow you to create an account from the app.
Then, for some reason, they never identify the website to use. There are always imposter websites out there, so it would be nice to know which is yours. These developers are ridiculous.

No opportunity to set up password
Repeat all earlier comments! You are stuck in a loop of not being able to register - after I was told I'd been charged! Beyond awful!
Don't pay for Propaganda
Don't be fooled. It isn't "news" - it's just the facile opinions of right wing idealogues. Save money and use free resources on YouTube.
No way to create an account
It’s very weird that there is not only no way to create an account, but also no message to tell people that they need to go to the website if they want to make an account (with the address link) to do that. I figured it out from reading these comments. Several people have made similar comments and the answers from the developers seem dismissive. The app should have an informative landing page since people who are not subscribers who download the app are likely to become subscribers if you offer them an easy way to do so. Don’t make potential customers jump through hoops!

Appalling getting started UI
Downloaded and there’s only a login screen which says credentials not known …. That’s because there’s no registration instructions. I’d recommend missing this app and moving on to one that’s had more thought to the user experience
L360 Slow Spanish
Awful tech. I register, having paid, am take to L360 and when I try to log in I get a ‘no account with these credentials’. Repeatedly.
Help?!
Help?!
Cannot set up account or log in
Really frustrating. Happy to pay for app but no opportunity to set up or buy the app
Just doesn’t work
App goes straight to a log in and password page. No way forward, no way back, no alternative route, no “forgotten your password” link. No alternative but to delete the app.
Looking through the reviews I see someone had the sane issue two years ago. Really not good enough.

Would like to be able to play forward through the archive
I really like the content but would like to be able to play the news programs chronologically forward rather than backwards.
Enjoyable
This app provides enjoyable learning of current events in French. I like that you can listen to the news in three different speeds according to your skill level. I enjoy reading along, and it is nice to be able to tap the words that are hyperlinked with definitions.
Logging in
So - I having had issues with my phone I try to log in, clearly forgotten password. But all I get is ‘No account with those credentials’
OK, so I try to reset password. Nope no opportunity to do so. So, I delete the app and try again and repeat. Same problem over and over again. For goodness sake - I cannot even create a new account as it will not let me. Pathetic

Really useful, the only learning method I’ve stuck with!
I’ve been using the app and the browser based on and off for several months now. I’m a really inconsistent learner, but I come back to News in Slow French for one main reason.
I believe the best way to learn a language is to speak it.
It’s amazing how much you can know in theory, but when you come to actually speak to someone, you are flummoxed! And probably the best way to practise speaking is language conversation classes. Unfortunately they are not available for just the five minutes you might have spare in the day!
However, listening to NISF, spoken by clear, native speakers, and stopping every few words to repeat - the old, écoutez et repeatez - I think is the next best thing. And the subjects are pretty good and hold the interest well.
Incidentally, I had been using google translate to do a similar thing myself, but the translators speak really fast (does focus the mind though!) and you have to go back to the beginning of the sentence or paragraph every time you stop and repeat.
I’ve been subscribing for a few months, but I’m actually only in browser mode at the moment because I only have a very few minutes a day and no income at the moment and it’s still great as although the articles are cut short, it actually suits me because I don’t have time to do full articles (although can leave you hanging on the punch line!)
Anyway, I’ve never written such a long review, but noticed it was really poorly rated and thought - that’s not fair! It’s a great product!!
Anyway, I have got to get on!
