What's New in LaCrosse Player,Coach Tracker

6.0

July 7, 2026

ou have been using the app with real standards, and this update is built around that kind of careful stat keeping. The latest version sharpens the lacrosse workflow across game logs, coach games, teams, players, reports, and iPad record editing so the app feels more dependable when you are preparing for practice, tracking a live game, or reviewing the season later. What improved: * Coach games now work better as true multi-player scorebooks. * The coach game editor supports player rows with a faster horizontal stat input layout. * Player row inputs are grouped into two cleaner stat rows for easier scanning on iPad. * Coach game rows now preview current draft values while the editor is open. * New coach games no longer start with a fake opponent placeholder. * Empty coach rows now say that there are no player rows yet instead of showing a zero-player count. * Sample coach data uses generic names such as player 1 and opponent 1. * Game, coach, player, team, and team game views now include clearer sort controls. * Searchable views can sort ascending or descending. * Game and coach records can sort by date, player, and team. * Player and team record lists use generic sample names that are easier to understand in tests. Record forms are easier to control: * Detail forms now include a top action bar. * Help opens a short guide for the current form. * Share sends a readable summary of the current form values. * Reset clears the draft back to default values. * Sample Data fills safe generic examples for testing reports and layouts. * Game logs, coach games, team games, players, teams, seasons, awards, goals, and infractions all use the same action pattern. iPad layout improvements: * Record views now behave more like split-view SwiftUI controllers. * Lists stay on the left while details open on the right. * Creating a new record can open directly in the detail area instead of using an extra popover. * Editing in the detail pane feels more natural on larger screens. * The coach tab no longer shows a confusing mode segment under the tab bar. * Team and coach records have clearer selection behavior. Stats and reporting improvements: * The stats area is organized around overview, leaders, and record summaries. * Player leaders, team leaders, and season leaders are easier to browse. * Team totals show clearer scoring and stat summaries. * Coach game detail pages show player row totals and expanded lacrosse lines. * Reports better separate individual games, coach games, and team games. Data and purchase reliability: * New records save on creation so users are less likely to lose work. * Cached entitlement data is treated only as a display cache. * The Pro cache is cleared aggressively when a matching verified transaction is missing. * Unverified purchase transactions no longer keep paid access alive. General polish: * Labels and sample values use clearer lacrosse language. * Empty states explain what to add next. * Action buttons are more consistent across record forms. * List rows avoid showing misleading zero-stat summaries when no player rows exist. * Search prompts better match the records being searched. * The app keeps a quieter, more focused scorebook feel on iPhone and iPad. This update is focused on trust. Your lacrosse data should be easy to enter, easy to review, and clear enough to use when decisions matter. Thanks for keeping good records and pushing the app toward a better lacrosse scorebook.

Not a stat tracker. Just a snap shot of one player

I expected this to be something to watch a game, and enter stats as they happen. This app is just a place to present the stats you already have.

Cumbersome to Set Up

VERY BASIC APP. This program is very, very time consuming to set up prior to each game. Additionally, if you and several other parents do the stats, each person has to re-enter player information on each device. Even if you switch between your own iPad & iPhone, re-enter everything. Carrying information from game to game is better done in Excel which becomes time consuming as well. Entering game time information is done with relative ease. Just make sure you put the player number before the name because there is nowhere else to enter this information.
