Swift 4 Dryer
It works! When I stopped by the App Store looking for Laifen’s controller app, there wasn’t mention about hair dryers, only toothbrushes. I thought it might be the wrong app.
I’m delighted that it’s probably the brand needing to update the App Store’s listing.
How it works:
The device user manual doesn’t have a how-to. I guessed. 1. Install app. 2. Turn on phone’s bluetooth. 3. Switch on the Swift 4. (The dryer appeared immediately.) 4. Select “+ Add Device. 5. Keep the phone & dryer close to one another, until the pairing’s complete. 6. Tap on the added device to scroll through options.
Impressions: I didn’t see a lot there that was different or a huge enhancement over using the switches of the Swift 4. One thing, however, is that instead of interpreting device status lights, the app’s a bit more descriptive. Some might prefer it over the device’s controls.
It might be due to the newness of the dryer. I’ll check in again to see if the app’s controls are fleshed out. I’m glad the pairing was efficient and intuitive, not requiring an elaborate setup!

This can be improved…
1- The electrostatic button is very difficult to use. It does not sense my finger to start, stop or go on avion mode.
2- The Bluetooth connection is unstable. The device “forgets itself” as a Bluetooth device and is no longer listed on the iPhone. This defeats the purpose of having the App.
3- Features like “cleaning the bristles when angled at 70 degrees” is faulty: the brush doesn’t sense it, and this never works.
I just got this device, and I am wondering if I bought it for a change or just to maintain the best possible oral health…
I may return it…
Update: received a new device: same issues:
1- The electrostatic button is unresponsive 99% of the time. I have to start it from the app (when it works too) or simply use it as a very expensive regular manual toothbrush from Walmart
2- The App is a total deception: the features that should work don’t, and the ones you don’t necessarily need…do work!!’🥴
Example: there is a pending firmware, which is failing to update the device.
Total Experience: extremely painful for the pocket. And the emotions.
Not recommended.

Toothbrush is Great… App is Horrible
Purchased toothbrush and successfully connected. Tried to update firmware and it bricks my toothbrush. Good thing I saw a restore default settings button which worked. The app works great when it will actually connect, it appears they have login authentication issues. I can’t get passed the login screen without erroring out. I’ve tried reinstalling multiple times. Been down for 2 days now and I’ve owned the toothbrush for 4

Impossible registration - fixed!!
App requires a registration code, either via email or via a text message.
Neither works, the unlock code simply does not arrive, making the app useless. Waste of time.
Update:
I was finally able to get a registration code via email. Don’t bother trying the text message route. If email fails, try again a few days later.
Pairing the toothbrush is a little convoluted but works eventually. Tuning options seem good, with some decent functionality. Nothing particularly outstanding.
App seems ok overall.

Useless
Activation code should be sent via phone or email but no code so app is completely unusable. Utter waste of time - very disappointing

Asks for a phone number to send an activation code to. Never arrives.
Great action for cleaning teeth / app is fine
The brush does a great job of cleaning teeth. High speed action is soft but effective. Mouth feels good.
The app is fine. I don’t understand what issues are. Note that to turn on brush you must hold power button for at least 5 secs when it is stored in travel mode - prevents accidental triggering.

App needs priority
Usually anytime I open the app it takes forever or doesn’t work. For an electric toothbrush that needs to work, it kind of needs to be a priority for the company
It never sends a confirmation code to login
The app is absolutely useless because when you first launch it, it asked you to login and gives you two options. One is to enter your phone number and the other is to enter your email address then you haven’t sent you a code that you need to type in within 60 seconds and the code is never sent. I tried both options. I tried my phone twice and I never received a text message and I tried to email once and I never received the email. I like the toothbrush I really have no idea why you need an app for a toothbrush, but I thought I’d try it.
