Turn device sound on
Honestly this app is great. I had trouble with sound at first, but realized the device cannot be on silent mode! My toddler is already picking up and remembering the notes in day 1! Awesome
Finally got my kid to work on ear training!
Okay, this app doesn't do everything, but it's fun, it's adorable, it's pretty intuitive once you sit down with them and explain the directions and explore it together a few times (if the kid can't read yet) - and more importantly, it got my young child to sit down and try ear training! No app is just going to teach your kid pitch matching or musical notation without you being involved. But this can help grab their interest and make them ASK to do more!
We have been doing it for a total of about 30 minutes over 2 weeks, and every night I play just a few notes on the piano to ask him to sing them, and he's started being able to accurately sing back "do" (middle C) most of the time when I play and sing it. This is a big deal for a kid who resisted learning this to suddenly be asking me "can you play re and mi next?" And I think it's because this app gives the notes personalities.
I have perfect pitch. We have a piano, two guitars, a harmonica, drums at home, we have done the group style music classes. Believe me when I say I am committed to helping my kid learn pitch. But my child has shown absolutely no interest in music lessons. This is the FIRST TIME he has started to repeat "do, re," etc. after me!
I think this app is perfect for a child between 4-6 (maybe younger or older) when you want them to start ear training or being interested in musical notation, and who isn't yet interested in doing this on a musical instrument. You need to help them use the app at first - it would be better if the instructions were made for a believe, but as is, the adult has to kind of learn and explore the app at the same time as a child does for the first few sessions. After that, I can hand the phone to my child to play but I still need to be around to correct and to encourage him to sing the notes.
I do wish there were 6x as many lessons at the most basic level. The incentives worked to try to unlock the guitar and other musical instruments, but it gets difficult too quickly.
For the person who has sound issues: you have to flip your phone ringer on the side of the phone on for this to work.

No sound
There’s no sound! I’ve deleted and reloaded the app just to try, and restarted my phone. This app has no sound for me 🤷♀️ makes a music app totally useless

I bought this app to help my son learn notes and although the program seems great there’s no sound. Pretty hard to learn music from silence.

音探しゲームはなかなか良いですね。アマチュア音楽家のトレーニングにはぴったりです。音並べの簡単曲作りは小さい子供にも楽しめそうですね。反応が速くてこの手のアプリにありがちなじれったさを感じないので面白い。
Love but to complicated too soon
I am a music teacher, and level one of this app is great! Distinguishing between two notes. It gets complicated way too fast and the levels are way too difficult unless kids ALREADY have great pitch. If level one had 20 exercises instead of just one then it would be the perfect app. Waste of money!
Solfa sounds do not sound right
This potentially could be a lovely app to help children read music and learn note pitches. The animation is lovely and the games simple but effective. However, some of the sounds do not sound right at all. E.g. Re sounds like lay and fa sounds quite odd. It spoils the whole point of the app. Having researched the app before buying I had found YouTube clips which did not have the same problem. I also felt like there was a lot missing in the app to the stuff I had seen online. Possibly it may be unlockable content - but with no instructions/parent notes - who knows? None of the website details on iTunes or within the app work - so there is no chance of support here! Shame really- I would have given it top marks if it worked as expected.

Such a nice idea - learn to read music with games and characters. You can also compose your own music so replay is kind of limitless. Just a lovely idea. Great for kids.

very useful for kids
I think that "LAMI find notes" is a best music app for kids.I want my son to become musicial.It help him easily to distinguish the note, height and a sound, help in the understanding of the representation of scores.

Good for everyone
It's a great app to learn about notes and their sounds. The cute design makes it interesting for kids to learn through this app. However, it is also fun for adults who want to learn notes as well. Overall this is a great app for everybody.
