Disappointing
The details on each entry are great, but the choice of buildings to include is very incomplete. So many times I walked past important historic buildings and there was no entry for that building. A disappointment.
Fun app, a bit dated though
This is a neat app if you’re one of those people who walk around NYC and wonder about the history of the various buildings you see. Map function hones in on where you are, building photos make it easy to identify buildings.
However, the info and narratives are a bit dated. In some cases I’ve found facts that are not accurate and have not been for over a decade.

I’m an architect and I’m loving walking around NYC looking up and learning the history of these great buildings as I stumble across them!

Great landmarks app, supports iPhone and iPad both well.
Feature requests: Wikipedia links, and a way to “check off” already-visited landmarks.
