The late 2025 UI/UX update is a mess
The old app still looked like it was designed around iPhones from 2010, sure, but at least it didn’t have half of the screen be fully grey most of the time. The algorithm that’s trying to always perfectly center the screen on the current fight is far too dumb and needs to better account for vertical screen space. Zooming in/out is not a useful feature and isn’t worth this dramatically worse experience.

New layout
There was an update that changed the scrolling of the maps. Something is off with the code…? Notifications are also funky. Sometimes it says I have a turn up,but then I pull up my games, and I don’t have a turn. Other times it doesn’t let me know when I have a turn and then I pull it up and I have turn in all five games (sometimes I lose my turn bc I didn’t know it’s my turn..)

Finally Fixing Notifications
I have changed my rating up to 4 stars as finally the developers fixed the notification problem for iOS systems with their recent updates. Also enjoy the recent new map Maxima. It is not 5 stars as I see the iOS version lacking the bells and whistles of the android version: can’t use links for games, no fancy statistics for games like Android, can’t replay games history, ….. I will change to 5 stars if you update the iOS version features to match the android version.

Fav version of Risk esque game
Love the option for fast paced games and combat resolutions. I’ve never found a better game than this

Latest update has bugs
Most recent update for iOS has bugs. The app is now slow to load and you can’t scroll the multiplayer screen to launch a game.

Also, easy and medium levels are way too easy but the hard level is just unfair as massive armies constantly lose to tiny ones, which is just a silly way to make the game more difficult and ruins the experience. After the tenth time where your arms of 20 loses to an army of 3 in the same game, you just quit and delete the app. Just dumb.

Solution
If you can’t restore purchase try uninstalling and reinstalling it.
Can’t change colors
I have loved Landrule on android for years.
Unfortunately I can’t choose my colors anymore…frustrating! Is that because of a new version, or is it because I switched to an iPhone? I don’t like red…so I might start looking for a different game.
Why is the done button on the left now? I keep accidentally pressing the done button because it keeps trading places with the all button…very irritating!

Still no turn notifications for iphone
Loved this game on my android, but its been years now and im still not getting turn notifications on my iPhone, please please fix this
Fun game, has 1 major issue for me.
There’s only a few maps where you can win on the “harder difficulty”. The free ones, you can win relatively often once you understand the strengths of the map. However, the large maps that you have to purchase are literally impossible to beat on the harder difficulty. There’s always one team that gets completely left alone and dominates, where if you try to take over too much at one time, every team gangs up on you to the point where you can never get ahead. By the time you can gain a solid area for yourself, another team has dominated half the map. Please fix the AI on the larger maps because it’s lliterally in playable.
In case someone from the development team reads this, the maps I’m talking about are:
British Isles
India
North America
And possibly more since I haven’t bought them all. I’m scared to, because I don’t want to buy an unplayable map.

Great for playing friends on iPhone or Android alike.
Has some small glitches and it's actually very expensive if you want all the maps, which are $1 each and no bundle option.
Purchased one map, it's so big you have to scroll around and there is no way to zoom out and get a look of the whole map at ounce. Hopefully the dev can fix this if there is another update ever.
Also the AI is terrible so play against friends or strangers that are human at least.

The game has become frustrating
I used to love this game on android. When i switched to an iPhone a few months ago I was excited to install this on my new device. I typically play on the hardest setting because anything less is just too easy. The problem with the hard setting though is that the AI isn’t any smarter it just turns into all against one. While all your neighbors gang up on you they let the Ai players on the other side of the map build steam. So if you do survive the initial onslaught you don’t stand a chance against the others that got the massive head start. The only way to win is to get lucky on initial placement and to get lucky on rolls at the same time. I don’t want to win just because of luck. I’m looking for a new game.
