Horrible ads
I don’t mind ads as long as they eventually go away. This app’s ad design is terrible.
STUPID!
I have been playing this for years offline. It cheats by attacking with a single army that becomes two if it wins. Ridiculous. But I got used to it because this is free.
So I updated to v1.3.3, which has a tech tree of completely useless items. Changing the player icon, color of only your territory, and four styles of the cursor. I went through the entire process for all tech. LAME. It now lets you change your player name, but just once, try as you might.
Something useful like playing against teams named by color is still not present. Instead you get to equivocate tyrants such as Stalin with real generals of WWII. Idiotic.
So I found how to try out the two new maps. Okay, so I open the internet access for the mandatory advertising. And what happens, that's right, your dirtbag advertiser "Supremacy 1914" takes control of MY phone. Forces a screen that says "You Lose". Then modal locks to its AppStore page. I can't return to the game for any new map. Had to get to calculator app to regain control of MY phone.
Supremacy 1914 chumps GTH.
I will be deleting your app now.

Obnoxious Ads
I played this game a lot until the last update. The obnoxious ads are now overwhelming and not worth my time. There is no premium option to pay to have ads removed, so the game is now pointless. I deleted it on my device. I won’t be back unless the dev fixes this issue. Pop up ads would not be a problem. Unfortunately the ads in this game trap you for several minutes, forcing you to watch video content you have zero interest in. Sometimes you are pulled out of the game and sent to external websites and it’s a struggle to get the ad to go away without killing and restarting the app. It’s a mess.

Unfair
The game is more fun on desktop. In this game, I consistently don’t get the ability to 10 troops card when the AI gets it multiple times. It is frustrating when this happens with multiple rounds and games and you cannot win.
