Locks up

Unfortunately, I haven’t even been able to do anything because it locks up after the “share location“ screen. I’m very aggravated about that because it actually looks like what I want!

Not free

Another annoying app that is “free” but then asks for a subscription fee to use($80/yr). Not only that but it kept freezing and I had to keep reloading it. I finally was able to get to the page where they asked for money after pages of them showing what you can do with the app and I deleted.

Freezes

I can’t even get into the app because it keeps freezing on the intro where it asks for location access. Haven’t made it past that step so can’t even use the app.

Does not work

App fails during setup with a gray screen and no continue button. This occurs at the 10th step of the introduction. Tried multiple times selecting different options with the same result. Emailed developer with no response.

I would love to use this app. If I only could.

Unfortunately, it appears to be a little buggy, even in the introductory. The continue button is far lower than the edge of my iPhone screen. I cannot scroll down to see it nor can I advance to the next page. Once I get to the one where I select what types of spaces I’m using it for I can’t progress. So I’m just here sitting hoping it will get fixed.

I’m sorry to hear that, that sounds very frustrating. I test the app on multiple different phone sizes including old ones to try to ensure things fit on screen as they should but I must have missed some phone size or setting that resulted in your issue. I just released an update (1.2.6) which should hopefully fix this. If you update the app (from the App Store) and try again and still encounter the issue please let me know at landscapedesignerofficial@gmail.com so I can continue to work on it. Ugh

Can’t get the app to open past the loading screen. Have deleted and re-loaded with no success. Too bad.

Hello, I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve tested the app thoroughly and have never encountered this problem so it’s difficult to know what the issue could be. It’s possible you were trying to open the app during the major AWS outage which occurred around a month ago and took down much of the internet. I’m working on an update to the app which should still allow it to open even when there are issues with connecting to any internet services. Sorry for the trouble and thanks for taking the time to leave a review!

The AI gave me a ton of ideas for designing the front yard of my new home. If you’re looking for a cheap and easy way to landscape, I recommend!

Didn’t function.

It was absolutely non responsive at the 3rd question: What are you designing?
No matter what I tried it simply wouldn’t move on.
Disappointed as I was excited to use this app.

Hello, I’m sorry to hear that. I have thoroughly tested the onboarding and never encountered any issue like that. I have just released a new update to the app today which I believe will ensure the onboarding always allows you to continue, even if there is something wrong. If you update the app to version 1.0.12 and try again it should work this time. Sorry again for the trouble.

Couldn’t get it to load photos

Doesn’t work. I couldn’t get it to load photos from my gallery. I tried everything, even reinstalling the app. I have it access to photos, but when I selected “use photos from gallery”, nothing ever happened. Very disappointed. Luckily, I canceled while still in free trial.

UPDATE: This bug is fixed now in the latest update. Sorry again for the trouble. Would you consider updating/removing your review? Hello, I’m sorry to hear that. After looking into this a bit I believe this can sometimes happen if you only have “limited access” set for the photo gallery permissions. I will get this fixed and push the update tomorrow. Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback and sorry again for the issue. I really want this to be a great app and feedback like yours helps make that possible.

Excellent App

This app was easy to use to design my yard and garden. The info on how to care for each plant was very helpful.
