About

LaneAudio turns anything you'd read into something you can listen to. Paste a link, share one from any app, or open a PDF, and LaneAudio reads it in a natural voice while you drive, cook, walk, or rest your eyes. Long articles, newsletters, forum threads, novel chapters, papers — if it's text, it's listenable. SHARE FROM ANYWHERE • Tap Share in Safari, Mail, Files, or any app with a share button, and pick LaneAudio. The link opens and starts reading. • PDFs too: "Open in LaneAudio" from Files or Mail, or upload from inside the app. KEEP LISTENING WITH THE SCREEN OFF • Playback continues when you lock your phone • Play, pause, skip 15 seconds, and change chapters from the lock screen, Control Center, or your AirPods • Novels roll into the next chapter on their own VOICES THAT SOUND LIKE PEOPLE • Natural neural voices in English, Chinese, and Arabic • Switch voices mid-article without replaying what you've already heard • Adjust speed to taste FOLLOW ALONG • A reading view highlights the sentence being spoken — useful for language learners and for skimming back PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF • Continue Listening remembers your place in every piece, on this device CHANNELS • Curated channels for when you'd rather browse than paste, in English and Arabic TRY IT WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT • Two free plays as a guest, then sign in to keep going. No subscription, no credit card. WHAT LANEAUDIO DOESN'T DO • It doesn't get past paywalls: if a page won't show you the text, LaneAudio can't read it either • It doesn't download for offline listening yet (streaming only) LaneAudio reads content you already have access to, for personal listening. Text extraction and audio synthesis happen on our servers; the audio stream isn't stored beyond a short cache. Read the privacy policy for details.
