Been using an app for a year Right now I didn’t found anything much because most features is locked behing a paywall and since I’m African American
People would friend me say a few words then end up ghosting me and mostly I’m just get burned out by it I didn’t pay for any featured because it dosent deserve it-
I’m not sure why your forced to pay for featured like for example 3/3 messages left if thete goimg to ghost you…..it’s stupid and i understand I’m not white and not Asian but the fact that woman get those features for free (from what I known but can’t confirm) is just an insult because they could just ghost you at anytime for no reason and its absurdly annoying

I will say this is an amazing app and wonderful project with great features when looking at UI design also I appreciate this opportunity to participate as part of users to explore new ideas for everyday users in the community as well as for the dev team try focusing on community building to make sure that you have a strong foundation for future development.

Good app but it doesn’t function properly
I would give this app a 5 star rating but it’s been giving me too many issues. I’ll change the rating afterwards if the issues are resolved or fixed.
This app is really good for meeting new people and learning more about other cultures and studying different languages, but it has recently started to have many bugs for me that also seem to affect other people I meet on Langmate.
I normally would receive multiple match requests every day and whenever I sent match requests they usually would get accepted after some time. But now I don’t get any requests at all, when I send match requests nothing happens and I get no updates on nearby people who speak the language I want to learn.
I’ve made many friends on this app and they have recently been reaching out to me on Instagram to tell me that they are unable contact me through Langmate because they can’t see my profile which is strange because I could still see theirs. I’m VERY disappointed because I’ve already spent around $30 on this app only for it to stop functioning… I’ve also sent their team emails twice to receive assistance or help but I got no response. This is honestly unfair and I hope no one else is having the same issues as me.
I’ve had a different langmate account before but I deleted it because I didn’t think I would want to use it anymore. Recently I came back and made a new account around a year later but I never experienced these types of issues the first time I used Langmate. So I’m very confused on why suddenly all of these issues are happening. I’m very disappointed.
