アップデートされて好きだった機能がなくなった
自分はpingoで接客英語を学んでました。こういうことが言いたい。こういうお客様の時の対応を教えて欲しいと設定すると答えてくれたのですが、ロールプレイングの所に合体されて質問出来る所が無くなってしまいました。戻して欲しいです。

인공지능이 지능이 없어요
복습하지말고 바로 다음 표현을 가르쳐달라고 다섯번 말했는데 안 들어요. 말을 중지하는 법도 없고 건너뛰는 법도 없고 시키는대로 안 하고… 이러면 왜 인공지능을 쓰는 거죠? 추천답변대로 말했더니 그건 자연스러운 표현이 아니라고 하네요? 무엇보다 발음이 별로에요.

푸를 청이랑 맑을 청도 구분 못 함
중국어 배우실 분들은 참고하세요. 맑은 색 뭐냐고 하니까 푸를 청 쓰면서 “청색은 이렇게 말해~ 파란 색이라는 뜻!^^” 이라길래 탁색의 반댓말인 맑은색은 뭐냐니까 계속 남색, (푸를) 청 색만 알려주네요… 10분 넘게 푸른 색이 아니라 맑은 색 알려달래도 계속 답변이 똑같아요~

This app was pretty enjoyable, it is a more effective way of learning for me as you communicate in the practiced language. Although I don’t think I’ll be using it again. This is because I forgot to cancel my free trial before it renewed into an annual subscription, I was charged $169.99 AUD. I’m not writing this because I dislike the app, but to warn others to be careful with the free trial because if something goes wrong, my experience with customer support was very disappointing and responded with that they do not provide refunds. They dismissed my case and responded to my email within 5 seconds. Which leads me to believe that they use AI to respond to users problems and questions. I had to go through a long process with Apple and then my bank, to get my money back which I was very close to losing.

Poor Pronunciation Recognition
This app was a complete disappointment. It doesn't recognize pronunciation accurately, which makes it very frustrating for anyone trying to improve their speaking skills. The conversation feature also feels very limited and unnatural.
Overall, I wasted both my time and money on this app. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable language learning app. It needs major improvements in speech recognition and interactive conversation.

Horrible
I thought that this app will be fun but it would not let me do anything I kept tapping everywhere but nothing worked and I restarted the app many times but it will not work please fix that
Interrupting
Every time I try to do a lesson and say what it tells me to practice it either interrupts me halfway through or even though it shows that it is recording I will get halfway through saying it before it recognizes that I’m speaking and will make me continue to repeat it. Even if I give it an extra second or so to wait till it really is listening the same thing happens over and over again. Turning what could be a 5 minute lesson into 10-15 minutes of it not working correctly

buggy mess but invaluable when it works
this app has seriously been a buggy mess lately. mostly the issue comes when starting a lesson or chat with pingo, the app will spend a long time connecting and sometimes doesn’t connect at all. i usually have to close and restart the app several times before it starts. it does this upon startup and even after i finish a previous lesson. idk if all language options are like this but this has been my experience with japanese and on iphone 17. that being said, this is seriously the most helpful app to learn a language i’ve ever used. it has it’s issues, sometimes it even gets things wrong, but generally this is the closest thing you can get to chatting with a native speaker. it handles all my questions perfectly and explains topics and questions in great detail. i believe i may stop using this service in time because i don’t agree with the use of any ai anymore due to political and environmental reasons, but in a perfect world of ethical ai use, this app is seriously incredible

I tried to start but what’s with the whole subscription thing? I thought it would be similar to Duolingo where you didn’t have to pay for the log in yet you proved me wrong. I’ll find my way back whenever you cancel it.

Awful Update
It was flawed before, but at least it was better than nothing. Now its not even that.
It’s ok
I’ve been using Pingo for about a month now and it’s just OK. I bought the premium hoping my experience would improve but it hasn’t. The ai sometimes cuts out or acts like it isn’t registering my response so I’ll try talking more slowly to be more clear, and then it says I’m not smooth enough. It’s frustrating. I say things I know are correct but the ai says it’s wrong and gives me the correct pronunciation that is exactly what I said. It’s killing my confidence 😣
