About
This app provides an augmented reality hands-on skill training simulation, focusing on Laryngoscopy with foreign body removal. This is a joint research project between Bond University and Central Queensland University exploring augmentation of distance education skills development in paramedic science through mixed media visualisation.
This app requires the use of specialised augmented reality markers and 3D prints which can be downloaded from:
http://mixedrealityresearch.com/#paramedics
The markers are usually cut out and attached to 3d printed medical instruments. An instructional video which outlines how the app works can be found at : https://youtu.be/vTRsnn-76mM
For more details on the project or details on the markers and instruments please contact the developers at jbirt@bond.edu.au.
