Don’t work

I can’t connect to my machine using the app. I’ve read several complaints on other platforms about the app not being updated.

Worse

Worst than previous version - no option to cut vs engrave, also where is the option if one uses the pyramids?

Zero stars

Can’t even connect, won’t find my machine.

Could be amazing!

Please Please Please make this app capable of framing and starting cuts! Would be awesome to only need to take the IPad to the laser!

Junk

App will not work on iPhone. It can not find my D1

Worthless

Refuses to connect to D1.
Laptop will connect via WiFi with CS but this app will not via iPhone or laptop.

Wireless failure

Tried to connect with my iPhone and iPad. Both indicated a failure to connect. My xtool d1 will connect wirelessly to my laptop and works great but not with laserbox.

No features

The app is basically useless unless you want to laser etch a photo and it doesn’t even do that very well. There’s no option to write text, import png files, or anything worthwhile. Disappointing.

Does not work

It does connect and will frame but will not engrave. I bought the xTool d1 so I could use my iPad or phone. Now I have to buy another laptop. Do not rely on this app.

Not able to cut

It doesn't give me the option to cut anything on the app

Can change power percentage

Everytime I try and use the app it stays at about 5% power. No matter how many times I change it or select different material. So weird.

Lettering

Great so far but it’s unable to weld or form a union on my lettering or atleast easy. We have yet to find out how on the software. Any help would be great or a update to allow it to.

Works but lacks key features!

Works well enough and connects quickly and reliably, but key features are missing:

- Importing DXF files or other formats
- moving the laser head, set origin, etc

It would be great to design on desktop apps, save the design, and just use this mobile app to set up and start the process.

This would be ideal for me since my D1 is in the garage!

Not Like Desktop Version

While I think the app has potential, there isn't a whole lot you can do with this version.
** NEEDS LANDSCAPE MODE for IPad.
** Needs same functionality as Desktop version

That's it, if this were desktop version on my IPad it would be a game changer. Laptops are becoming kind of archaic.

PLEASE MAKE FULL VERSION for IPAD!!!!

Basic, but it works

I would love to see a native iPad app that we can use in landscape mode (please!). It should have room to introduce more control elements and bring it in-line with the desktop version, but there’s all kinds of potential here. I was able to create an image with another app on my iPad, import it, and then engrave it- all from my iPad.

You can only set power and speed right now, so if you need to fine tune the settings you’ll have to use a computer still.
