What's New in Last Calorie

3.23.0

August 30, 2026

Apple Health, fixed • Workout distance and pace were wildly wrong — a 10 km run showed as a few metres. Both are now accurate. • Your day's activity is recorded against the right date. Previously, anything logged in the evening could be filed under the next day and lost. • Duplicate workouts from different apps no longer overwrite each other. Home screen • Nutrition cards keep their shape and no longer cover the text beneath them. • The last meal of the day is fully reachable instead of hiding behind the tab bar. Also • When pricing fails to load, you now get a clear message and a retry button.

Updates are ruining it

I got this app in May and I LOVED it but all of the updates they’ve been doing have made it difficult to navigate and way less user friendly. Going to try it for another month but will probably end up switching. You can’t manually type in your meals anymore and the AI on the app doesn’t recognize most of the food you’re trying to input. I end up wasting time

Superb customer service

This has been a fantastic app with a few minor new app flaws. Within minutes of messaging the support team they write back with their action plan. Less than 24 hours later the app has been updated and fixed each time! Highly recommend!

Suggestion

Need more options to add your own recipes rather than having people take a picture that they can’t edit the ingredients that are actually in it. I know this is pretty accurate but would love it more if you could do more in the app itself.

Response from developer

Hey there, Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback — we completely understand where you’re coming from. And we have some great news. In the latest version of the app, we’ve added several new features, including more flexible options to add and edit your own recipes — no photo required. That means you can now customize your ingredients, meals, and even save your favorite creations directly inside the app. We’re always improving based on amazing feedback like yours, so if you update to the latest version, we think you’ll really enjoy the new experience. Thank you for being part of our journey — you’re helping us improve the app for everyone. With gratitude, The Last Calorie Team
