It has me stuck in kid mode for some reason and wants me to verify my age with personal info like social credit card just to play a game I’m 30 years old !
This game is awesome
I've logged in every day for 422 days in a row. So why the 1-star review? The developers decided to cut nearly all the inexpensive packs and they did not replace them with anything comparable. In addition, for the packs they did leave (primarily event related), they gutted them and the prizes stemming from events. Such as the number of items you can trade in or receive from an event. It's quite literally skrink-flation. It's done nothing but slow progress beyond the pay-wall. If the decision to cut packs was motivated by greed, I am fairly certain that it backfired. Most people are not spending within the game as much as they once did. It used to be that packs started at $1 or $5 and tiered upward 6 or 7 tiers, and there were plenty of options to choose from (you could select your growth path). Now, there is one daily pack with 2 tiers. They say the change is based predominantly on user feedback. I'm fairly certain that's inaccurate. Whatever the real cause is, the result is they are killing their user base off. It's quite sad.

FTP requires incredible patience and self control
Free to play requires patience many/most don’t have. I enjoy the game, especially the social aspects so it makes spending $ sort of worth it, but seriously it’s too expensive. If you are an impulsive spender, you could easily rack up 10s of thousands on in game purchases. I’ve seen people end up in serious debt: Whales. I’m a dolphin but still spend around $50 a month and even more during the “seasons” if I don’t keep track. If you’re active and in a good alliance, you will grow without spending.
The developers listen to players’ complaints and requests and this game is so much better now than when I started over two years ago.

Is real like ads
And is kind of easy to play but I just hate when after finishing a level you have to build a lot and upgrade instead of just playing/ fighting
Cash cow
No fun unless you plan to spend $$$$$. All game play and seasonal plays are about who spends the most money. Not worth playing. The Devs act like a bunch of communists limiting you free speech and expression. They suck

This is the best game in the world
Doesn’t detect I’m on my iPhone
I pass a section and it requires me to login or use a mobile device. 1. It never asked me to sign in when I downloaded it and 2. I am on my iPhone
Too much time between battles
You have to spend way too much time navigating the base, upgrading things, unlocking, harvesting, and doing all these dumb tasks before you can just jump into the fun part (the actual battle). Not worth it
Beware the scams
Beware the scam! They are preying on addiction and they have tons of scams to trick you into. People are spending thousands foolishly on here and wasting an extreme amount of time. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT START! If you are a parent do not let your kids have access to a credit card. I see younger people spending foolishly as if it were mom and dad’s money.

Last War: Survival (5 month review)
I am five months into this game, and I am already non competitive. I have spent over $500 American dollars and am so under powered still that opponents just laugh at me. Cant recommend this game. It’s a money pit with zero payoff.
Game gets stale
By season 5 the game gets boring since the developers stepped down the game gets stagnant
So much to do, too much to do
Well I’ll start by saying that I love this game. Have played it for several months now and it’s fair to say it does draw you in. So many fun and rewarding things to do.
I’m finally about to get my base to level 23 tomorrow (which I think is pretty respectable) and that’s when I will stop playing as it’s simply become too long now to grind out resources for upgrades in the game. I am also sure that there are so many things I still don’t understand how to do fully, which is where it’s almost too complex.
A massive thanks to the developers of this game though - an amazing achievement and good luck to my alliance BarbieBarians - it’s been fun!!

It’s fun I like it
Great game, but needs fairer server matchmaking
Last War is highly addictive and fun, but the resource economy changes and cross-server matchmaking make it very difficult for free-to-play or low-spending players to enjoy combat. Heavy spenders dominate completely, which ruins the competitive balance.The developers really need to accommodate all player types by introducing bracketed or tiered servers. If equal-powered servers were grouped together for combat, leaving the highest-spending "whales" to fight other whales, the game would be much fairer and more sustainable long-term. I hope the team considers segmenting servers or matchmaking by power brackets to keep the playing field level for everyone.

Time
If you want to immerse yourself in a game, this is the one, but be advised it requires a lot of time and or money to grow to the top, and it’s constantly creating new events to learn and adapt to, so be advised casual play and low spending / F2P players have literally no shot at enjoying the game unless you like losing continuously. Devote 4-6 hours each day if you want to get anywhere with low/no spending, schedule your life around event times (necessary for F2P) and you can eventually get to a point where it’s fun but it takes many months, and the changing seasons radically change gameplay so you constantly have to change and adapt (twice a year I think). If you want to spend 30 hrs a week or $100/week (or both) you will like the game. Casual players, find something else unless you like being last and at the bottom always.

Constantly lagging
Last war has the worst customer service I’ve ever had the experience of. They constantly blame any issue on the players and their internet connection. Complete joke they actually expect everyone to take multiple screenshots and videos of every action that you do. Because they are that incompetent they can’t sort any problem themselves

Loving this game
This game is great! The only problem is that it’s a little easy. But I’m not very far so I’m sure it will get harder. Jesus loves y’all!!!
