About

Latibule is a quiet, minimal breathing app for the hard moments — panic attacks at 4 AM, the spike before a meeting, the sleep that won't come. No subscription. No account. No streaks. No notifications begging you to come back. One quiet purchase and the app is yours. Open the app, pick what you need, breathe. The screen stays calm. The haptics carry the rhythm if you want to close your eyes. When the session ends, if you're wearing AirPods Pro 3 or an Apple Watch, you'll see how much your heart rate actually dropped. — THE NINE PROTOCOLS — BOX (4-4-4-4) Equal-time breath used by Navy SEALs and clinicians. Steadies the nervous system without forcing relaxation. 4-7-8 Inhale four, hold seven, exhale eight. The long exhale activates the parasympathetic branch. Adapted by Andrew Weil from pranayama. RESONANCE (5-5) Five seconds in, five seconds out — around 6 breaths per minute, the rate at which heart rate variability is highest. Backed by 2025 research. COHERENT (6-6) Slightly slower than Resonance. Pulls you toward cardiac coherence. BELLY BREATH (4-6) A diaphragmatic breath: chest still, belly rises and falls. The 4:6 cadence is the cleanest evidence we have for HRV elevation. PHYSIOLOGICAL SIGH Two short inhales, one long exhale. Used in moments of high stress to drop arousal quickly. HUMMING Inhale four, hum out for seven. Releases nitric oxide in the sinuses. Resonant and grounding. ALTERNATE NOSTRIL Traditional pranayama. Slow, balancing, meditative. BELLOWS Quick, energizing breath. For when you need to wake up, not slow down. — LIVE HEART RATE — If you're wearing AirPods Pro 3, an Apple Watch, or both, Latibule reads your heart rate during the session and shows the change at the end. You see proof your body responded — not just a feeling. — PRIVACY — Latibule never asks for your email. There's no account, no cloud sync, no profile. Sessions stay on your device. Apple Health integration is read-only and opt-in. The app sends a small number of anonymous event counts (no personal data, no IP, no identifiers — just totals like "someone tapped X") so the developer can see whether features land. Read the full privacy page from inside Settings. — A NOTE FROM THE MAKER — I built Latibule because I had recurring 4 AM panic attacks and couldn't stand any of the existing apps. They felt loud. They wanted my email. They had streaks that made bad nights worse. So I made the opposite of that: an app that doesn't ask anything from you, opens fast, and gets out of the way. If something feels off, write to me. The Settings page has a link. — Andrii Hryshutkin minimotactu.com
