Barely works
Barely works, picks up one or two symbols a time only instead of all of the ones on the label and then it doesn’t do anything else? My brain does the exact thing this app does, why can’t I save labels for my garments? Or put them in categories so I can go “oh I have these garments to wash, I should run this cycle” Why can’t I organise stuff to actually make my life easier instead of doing what google or my own brain cells do.

Schwarz-Weiße Symbole wären besser
Im Prinzip eine sehr gute App, die genau tut, was sie soll. Nur sind die farbigen Symbole leider teilweise schwer zu erkennen – vor allem Hellgrün und Gelb. Es wäre gut, wenn man die optional auf Schwarz-Weiß umstellen könnte. Dann wäre die App für mich problemlos 5 Sterne wert.

Cada vez que escaneo una etiqueta y me encuentra algún símbolo, para leer otra o intentar encontrar más símbolos, tengo que cerrar la app, porque si no no encuentro la forma de que me vuelva a escanear

Bleibt auf meinem iPhone 13 Pro Max hängen wenn ich auf ein Symbol tippe. Etiketten lassen sich leider auch nicht scannen. Leider unbenutzbar.

Just doesn’t work. The UI hangs as soon as you try to do anything. It’s useless.
Pretty useful even if not perfect
I agree with the other review that sometimes it picks the wrong temperature number or misses some of the symbols. I just started using the search and edit feature. it would be nice if you could search for symbols and read what they say without adding them to your camera results.
But it still helps me a lot to have all of the symbols in one place. I wish there was a way to do the search and get to the results without having to swipe the window down, because I think if it doesn’t find something with the camera, it won’t actually allow you to see the instructions from a manual search.
Having said all of that, even with having to do a couple searches and lock manually, at least I have an easier way of helping myself figure out how to wash various types of clothes correctly.
But it still helps me a lot to have all of the symbols in one place. Brilliant! Easy user interface, and works perfectly. Great app!
A good app with room for improvement
Glad to have this little app to fill in the gap. It would be great to have info showing for just browsing the symbols. Right now, it’s just doing selection. I don’t like the camera scanning, because it’s too error-prone. One big step forward is having symbol drawing recognition. Something like DeTeXt. Take users scribbles as input and output the labels and meanings, with higher to lower probability.
