About
Before I head out for a run, I usually want one answer: what should I wear? Layer works that out from the weather during the run, how hard I plan to go, and the gear I own.
Choose the kind of run you're planning and how long you'll be out. Layer follows the forecast across that window, including temperature, wind, rain, and changing conditions, then recommends one outfit.
Learn from actual runs
Afterward, tell Layer whether you felt cold, warm, or comfortable. It adjusts gradually as a pattern develops, so one odd day will not rewrite your preferences.
Use your own gear
Add jackets, tights, base layers, and the rest of your running kit. Photos are optional. Recommendations use the names of your items instead of generic labels.
Keep your kit and runs
Sign in with Apple if you want your Layer runs, kit, shoes, preferences, and optional gear photos to sync through your private iCloud account and return after a reinstall.
Apple Health is optional
Give Layer read-only access to completed running workouts and it can match them to runs in your Log. Health data stays on your device, and Layer does not write to Health.
Layer is built for the moment before the run: check the plan, see what to wear, and get outside.
